When Andrea first appeared in his life with her mother, Amelia, Killian hated her. Growing up, he was a small child who got picked on by bigger kids in the neighbourhood. Her coy, deceitful nature repulsed me, yet she clung to me like a shadow. At our graduation party, she deliberately fell down a staircase in front of me. When everyone rushed over, her tearful accusations painted me as a cruel bully. I'd never forget the way Mitchell held her protectively that day, his gaze filled with disappointment, anger, and disdain as he looked at me. "You've let me down. I wish I didn't have a sister like you." But I didn't push her. That day, I waited at home for hours for Mitchell. He didn't come back. He didn't even answer my calls.

Winona did not believe me and even thought I was a conwoman. "Who are you? Why should I believe you? Yvonne is my best friend. Why would she poison me? Harass me any further and I'll call the police." I looked at her and said, "I'm Yvonne's younger sister, Greta. If you don't believe me, look into her bag. The poison is in there." Winona did not believe me and laughed coldly. "You're Yvonne's sister? She has never mentioned having a sister. You didn't even bother to make up a good lie."

She was apart of my sisters friend group which consisted of Hayley my sister, Shannon, Amanda, Roxanne and Alexa. The two Shannon and Alexa were the same age as me but they hung out with the seniors, my sister and her friends. Although my sister and I were very close, I never got along with her friends. They had all disappeared when she passed except Alexa who came by a few times but gave up after standing out the gates for hours on end begging me to open up. That was before I moved to my aunt's place.

Just what her sister’s intention was for tagging a long was a puzzle. Mandy felt like she had lost touch with her sister. They were consciously avoiding each other. Her quitting her nursing job had brought a lot of strain on their relationship as siblings. Not that it wasn’t strained even before that. Mandy had always felt inferior. I immediately lowered my head. I heard Chris introducing me, "She's my sister's friend, so she's kind of like a sister to me." Yvonne shyly greeted us. "Hello. My name is Yvonne Simmons." Tricia snickered and said, "I knew it! Chris has liked you for ages. He even showed me your picture and couldn't stop talking about you." To avoid exposing our relationship, I almost never appeared when both siblings were present together. Even when chatting with Tricia, I tried to steer clear of any topic about Chris.

She says sheepishly. "To be sure, sweetie. Regrettably, I must inform you that I am not precisely a nobody to Mrs Diamandis. I am her older sister, and I have not travelled nearly as far as I have in order to be turned down." As I glare at her, I straighten my posture. "You said 'friend' not 'sister.'" She scowls at me. "Friend, sister... Do we really need to put a name on it?" I mutter.

No family, no friends, just the two of us. Years swept by. I was an adult now. Despite that, my sister still fought for my safety. She was my only family, my only friend. I couldn’t thank her enough for everything. Our relationship turned more into a telepathic feeling. Whenever she’s sad, I can’t be happy. I just realized it too late that I did not get to express it well. “If you’re gonna take my advice that you should try liking another woman, well, I know someone. Do you remember Kelsey Robins? Your sister’s so-called super best friend?” Kelsey Robins? Who the fuck is that? “Kelsey who? I don’t remember anyone. I doubt my sister even has a super best friend. They are all being fake to her.” The name was familiar, but my sister had brought multiple women that she often called her best friends—which I did not find real, as most of them only befriended her because they wanted to have connections with me.
