The balls were surrounded by different colours, so I guess that they represent our relationship, friendship and love. The affection in true friendship is more of emotion or feeling of true (Agape) love, care, kindness, passion or compassion, and tenderness towards one’s friend, and not necessarily sexual intercourse or relationship. Friendship works between people of the opposite gender, but it is more between people of the same gender or sex. "How on earth am I meant to know", he asked pretending inorder to know the reason why she's asking.
