“If I am going down, Freya. You are going down with me…” Red fur sprouted from her skin, her fingers contorted into long claws as her clothes began to shred away when her muscles bulged. The sound of bones cracking echoed through the air. She was unable to complete the transformation. It was a half shift. Her eyes darkened to pewters as she let out a guttural snarl. “Now let’s end this here once and for all!” She ran towards Freya, but before she could reach her, my fingers caught her throat. His skin sagged, his muscle mass decreased drastically, and his skin became a dull, sickly gray. Conclusively, the harsh sound of snapping bones filled the air, and Fred was turned into nothing but an empty shell of the being he once was. Makila flung his husk aside like it was nothing but a dirty piece of paper, and clapped her hands in a dusting fashion. "What about his children?"
