I became taller and a bit fatter and I felt my pupils dividing into two. My abs got deeper and my chest got broader. My skin turned red and scaley. I got claws on my hand and feet. My teeth turned triangular, sharp and pointy and among them my canine grew longer. I wanted it all to stop. I gave a loud roar at the end. Linda and Diana looked as shocked as they could ever be as they watched my transformation. Tears slowly dropped down their eyes and their mouths remained open. Pablo and Freddy's soul were still whaling and seemed not to recognize anything or anyone here anymore.

Suddenly, I heard sharp cracking sounds emanating from his body. As I watched in horror, his skin began to ripple and change, and fur sprouted across his arms and torso. Claws extended from his fingers, glinting menacingly under the dim light. The transformation was surreal, almost unimaginable, as his form continued to shift into a beastly figure.

I added hastily. “Sure.” She wouldn't be able to find my secret chamber, right? As if on a cue, immediately after our conversation, Kylo decided to take over. All I could think of, I did so that Kylo wouldn't take over me but my efforts were to no avail. At first, my eyes began to glow with an inner light, as my pupils expanded. My irises weren't left out as it began to shine like molten gold. For the full transformation process, my body began to shift and contort, my limbs stretching out and getting elongated. The muscles beneath my skin rippled out so that the clothes I had on were shredded into pieces.

His lips parted to call her name, “Freya?” The creature let out a long breath then collapsed to the ground, its long tails wiggling slightly. In a blink, her form began to change. The dark fur melted away. Her bones shifted. Limbs reshaped. There, lying in the blood-stained grass under the heavy rain, was Freya—naked, fragile-looking, her body pale and bruised. The cat rested beside her, curled gently into the crook of her limp arm.

A low growl rumbled from his throat, building into a snarl that shook the air. “Oh crap,” I whispered, taking an involuntary step back. In one fluid movement, the beast lunged. But Kai was faster. With a powerful shout, Kai jumped ahead, his body changing in mid-air. His bones shifted and claws emerged where his fingers used to be. The transformation felt natural to him, almost like a skill he had perfected through years of practice.

Everyone was stunned by the sudden transformation and they all stared at Adrian with different expressions. Even Socha, who had earlier suspected Adrian of being a spy, never imagined that he was such a monster. She stood frozen, her medical bag slipping from her hand as she watched the boy she had once treated, as turn into something out of a nightmare. Adrian was no longer human, he was now a lethal killing machine “GRAWWWL!” With a guttural roar that vibrated through the floorboards, he flexed his muscles. The blue light ropes that Mira had used to bind him shattered like glass, and the shards of energy dissipated into the air.

Only the details had changed. Amara frowned. "The ritual has already begun. Elder Brother should be awake by now. Why hasn't there been any response?" On the bed, Freya's transformation had progressed even further. What had started at her toenails had spread all the way up her legs, and scales now covered both of her hands. She looked less like a human than a small dragon wearing a human face. Jason frowned, completely at a loss. "That's exactly how Godfather taught me to do it. I don't understand what's gone wrong."
