Romans & histoires From Substitute To Queen

“How dare you come to my pack... to my home and suggest your daughter replace my Laura?” Even the moon goddess couldn’t replace the late Queen in the Alpha King’s heart. To save myself from the hell I knew the Alpha King was about to invoke on the visiting Alpha, I stepped backward. My eyes lingered on Jodie, who was still in his arms, and I considered saving the baby as well, but before I could act on that thought, the visiting Alpha responded, a little shaky but quite confidently, “She is not replacing the late Queen, Alpha King. She will be the next Queen, joining the two Royal Families together and ending the strive between—”

I tried to pull back, but he held firm, and I could feel the heat of his gaze through the damn mask. "Poor baby," he said slowly. I gritted my teeth angrily. "You really love to dream a lot, don’t you? What part of the queen can’t stand you do you not understand?" He mocked. He released my legs to swirl me around once more. "Ok, I will explain it to you like a toddler that you obviously are. I heard the maids talking, and tonight would be a replacement night for you. The queen is planning on selecting the best woman who would be her son’s Luna," he stated.

Asher had difficulty forming the words he wanted to say as anger, disappointment, fear, disbelief, helplessness battled all at once! "Eric is one of us now, and I want you all to treat him with respect. Do I make myself clear?" ". . ." ". . ." "Yes," Asher said after a long silence. "Your wish . . . is my command . . ." D shivered upon hearing Asher's grudgingly gritting voice. It was ear piercing, spine cringing than the ones made by claws scratching against metal plates. He eyed the gorgeous lady beside him. This was the first time that their Queen defended someone to this extreme.

But then, watching the same people over and over again gets boring overtime. Diving into the book, I reopen to one of my favorite parts of the lycan battles. It is the chapter where the lycan king was brought to his knees by the queen, and makes she him beg her for his life. He wasn’t expecting her, or that she would even do something like that. It is what makes me like it more. I feel like I relate to the queen well. She has always been undermined and underrated, then she wound her full potential and—

Alpha Trent was the one to step forward this time. “Stupid question get’s stupid answer. Tread carefully Alpha.” I said. “When you win then you will automatically become the Queen. I guess I’m just curious as to what you have planned for afterwards?” He shrugged. “Let’s just get threw this fight first shall we. The king might just kill me and then you’re question is then invalid.” I said. Damn that’s the second time I’ve been asked that. You’d think I would’ve thought about it by now.

She says with a small giggle. "You will stop second guessing your abilities to lead and you will rule right beside your mate. That is an order." She jokes with a hint of seriousness. I nod and smile up at her. She holds her hand out and a golden staff apears. I immediately bow down and she dubs me Queen of werewolves by tapping the staff on both of my shoulders. "I now dub thee Mackenzie Roseline Lathen as Queen of werewolves and Luna of the royal pack. Do you accept?" She asks and I look up at her.

She warned. "I will never leave you for any power, listen to me, it would be just as we planned, I will kill Damien and since you already have a heir, we lose nothing, you can finally be mine," he says, coming close to her. "Onyx, I am your queen, you listen to me and end this matter," she yelled and the video ended. "Is our present king responsible for our late king's death?" Was the question asked as the caption?. We are knew that it was Roman who uploaded it

The warmth of it reached me even before he spoke. “This is Novaretta. My mate. The Lycan Queen of this territory. From this night forward you will address her as Your Majesty, and you will treat her with the respect the title demands.” A sharp gasp echoed through the room, then silence held for a beat longer than comfort allowed. The air itself felt heavier, colder at the edges. “What did His Majesty say? Lycan Queen? Her? What about Lady Aristabond?” “Damn… He might have heard the rumors and brought this woman as a replacement.”

With each phrase he spoke, my chest clenched a little more. "When you saw me on Television, did the only thing you really see in me was Liliana, your wife and not Zaniyah Moore who was your childhood friend?" If I had believed that nothing could be more painful than what he had spoken before, I would not have imagined that his refusal to give me my expected answer would have driven a knife further into my chest. "It's always been Liliana, Zaniyah. I only take you here because I want you to be her substitute. I want you to be my substitute wife."

,"What? I was just ask to deliver the gowns. Now I am ask to stand in for the absentee bride?" "I'm Sorry MIss?" "Alina Jones." too bad she fall on the bait of telling her name. " Please Miss Alina Jones It would just be for a while, We will make it worth your while." So she obliged took step after step to the altar. Just like a lamb who was lead to the slaughter.
