He looked back at the person standing in the corner. Elaine followed his gaze and saw a tall figure in the corner, about 1.8 meters tall, wrapped in a black cloak, with both hands behind his back and a black mask on his face, revealing only a pair of eyes. He suddenly looked at Elaine, his eyes as deep as a well. Elaine's heart chilled, and she quickly turned her face away. I pointed out at the car parked faraway while I called to his attention. “Why does he have to pack that far? I can’t see a thing from here?” He spoke with a squinted eyes, as if trying to see into the car. He even went as far as raising a shield up with his palm over his eyes to grant himself a better sight at seeing into the far point of an image.

He just let his gaze slide to the screen from the corner of his eye. His brows then furrowed.

I can't quite see the color though, so I tilt my head to the side to get a little bit more view, and then his eyes open. ... And find me staring at him.

Then slowly, he glanced over his shoulder and their eyes met across the distance.
