James could not help but put down the book and ask her in a skeptical tone, “You’ve been with my grandfather for quite some time now. Has he read the medical book before?” “Yes.” Thea did not deny it. She nodded and said, “He did read it. However, grandpa said that this book will only be useful for you and that no one else can apply the knowledge recorded in its pages since they don’t possess the Crucifier.” A chuckle escaped Thea's lips as she brought up the subject of the Crucifier. “It was so stupid of me before. I can't believe I dried my underwear with the Crucifier."

Raff starts. “I know. I should have told you last night or maybe this morning, but Rafferty Maellan Verdante Addams, you have no right to go through my things and read my spell book!” Willow shouts. Raff looks shocked at the accusation and a bit scared. “Woah there princess! No one went through your things or read your spell book. Just hear Raff out, then you can explain what your spell book has to do with you being more fae than we thought,” Aiden says, stepping to block Raff from her wrath if she unleashes it.

It flies right back into her arms, where she hums for seconds and whispers.
