Olivia The room seemed to close in on us as Edward introduced himself. My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt Nathan tense beside me. This couldn’t be right. Edward was supposed to be dead. Gone. A ghost of the family’s troubled past, erased from history. How was it possible that he was standing here, then, alive and well? He had to be an imposter. “Edward? As in, the brother of my father, Colin? The one who died?” Nathan’s voice wavered between disbelief and a sort of cautious hope.

There was an unexpected turn of events when Edward suddenly stood up, left the line, and headed for the toilet. I immediately ran after him; my brother's hoarse voice rang out before I could open my mouth to call. "Stalking others is a bad practice." As soon as he finished speaking, he rushed to me like lightning, grabbed my collar, and pulled me up, his cold eyes like ice swept across my face. "Tell me why; I will cut off your leg if you lie." Edward didn't recognize me, which startled me for a moment, but it occurred to me that I had been well disguised before I came in. My hands lifted, wrapped around Edward's wrists, and whispered. "Brother, it's me."

I nodded. “Yeah... he showed up. And those voices, those doubts... those invisible hands that squeezed my head... they disappeared.” Edward closed his eyes for a second, relaxing. His face was still scarred, his body weak... but his spirit was the same. “Go after her, brother,” he said, with what little strength he had left. “And bring our white wolf back.” I nodded one last time. “I will. And anyone who tries to stop me... will now true hell.”

"No. I just wanted you close. I know you. I don't need you going to trial for killing this man. And from the looks of it, you were two seconds from it." His cheeks reddened and he rubbed the back of his head, looking away. I chuckled. "I love you, too." I said. "Can we get back to the topic." Edward said. I looked back towards him, steeling my spine. "So, this is my brother's grandfather. I knew I got this weird feeling from you." His eyes widened. "Brother?" "Uhh, yeah. Brother. Danny is my younger brother." He snickered. "Stop being foolish and playing games, child."

Leon was startled by Edward's words, he stared at Edward, his eyes becoming bewildered. Leon's voice was also changed, he said in astonishment. "Brother? What the hell are you talking about, Edward? Who's your brother?" More and more, Leon can't understand what Edward is thinking in his head. Is he crazy? Although Leon was looking at Edward with bewildered eyes, he was not afraid, Edward became more and more interested, he gave Leon a glass of wine, and then he spoke.

I wasn’t sure anymore. Edward climbed the small stone platform and turned to face them. His voice, when it came, was calm. “Today is not a day I imagined would come,” he began, and every head snapped toward him. “It’s not just a sad day for this Pack. It’s a devastating one for me, personally. Ethan is my brother. He has been with me since the day I first learned what loyalty meant, and it crushes me to know that this is where we’ve landed.”
