My voice cracked a bit at the end. His jaw clenched tightly as his fists balled up in anger. "I thought you'd like-" Matt's voice died down. Kyle moved fast again, his fist crashing into Matt's face who stumbled backwards. "Get that thing away from me. Or else-" Kyle warned, his voice dropping lower than before. Kyle took a step to move but Matt stopped him. "You see, brother-" His claws grew longer. And the grin from before was now replaced with a deadly look. "You don't control me."

When I came back from Silvermoon Training Camp, I saw my older brother, Zachary Barker, leaning back against the couch with fine beads of sweat sliding down his taut neck. He was wearing some gray sweatpants, and his eyes looked somewhat dazed. "Zachy? Why are you back so early today?" I went over to him, meaning to grab his hand, but instead, I touched a warm, sticky liquid on his hand. "Why's your hand all wet?" I asked, holding up my hand and sniffing it. "There's a strange smell to it too…"

Her next words nearly give me a heart attack. “There are two things, actually. Sebastian and I got married in Vegas two days ago.” My stomach drops. “What?!” “There was nothing I could do, Loriah.” She cries. “He brought it up and I couldn’t dissuade him. I’m so sorry.” This only means one thing — Zakari is really my step brother now. “I don’t have much time, but the second thing I want to tell you… Zakari killed his younger brother ten years ago. He murdered Jamal with his own hands…”

I answered. The photograph still pulled at something inside my heart but it wasn’t enough to tear open the scar that Dorian had left on it. “I will call you back,” I said. I hung up and scrolled through the comment section of the post the way you do when you know you shouldn’t. They look perfect together. Always knew he would never settle for normal girls. As usual, Bella got a lot of mean comments. Then one comment in particular froze my thumb. Wonder if the illegitimate Vale brother will be invited to the wedding lol.

I was grateful that the hallway was quiet, but my retreat didn't last. As I passed a corner, I collided with something hard. A man's chest. I could feel the crazy tension between them; an unknown force made the air heavy. They were standing in a formation I couldn't understand. They looked at each other with fury, a silent battle brewing between them.

Roy leaned casually against one of the black cars, his hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans, looking far too relaxed for someone who belonged in a place like this. " I'm Roy, Roy West. Gabriel's younger brother...I guess you haven't heard of me or know who I am." He said casually. Kimmy was surprised when she heard him,no one knew the mafia boss had a younger brother.Unlike Gabriel, Roy looked warm and human. He looked younger too barely eighteen, with softer features, calm eyes, and an easygoing expression that made him far less intimidating than his older brother. " I never knew he had a brother...I..I was". Kimmy stuttered a little.

Kimberly asked and Alisa looked up again. "What is that supposed to mean, Kim?". "That you don't care that your brother chooses a stupid human over your best friend. You're supposed to stand by me, Lisa instead you befriend my rival" Kimberly stated. "You're too faint-hearted, Kim. If you want something, you go for it. You don't sit back and wait for others to do the fighting. Honestly, I don't care who my brother's with as long as he's happy. Do you know what it means for Eric to be happy?? Everything will go back to the way it used to be, perfect. Now kindly let me continue my book, thank you" Alisa replied.

Aiden’s men were being wiped out faster than Blake could even take in. There were a few signs of hope. One of them was Samuel, Caleb’s brother. Blake watched in admiration as Samuel fearlessly fought off hordes of Kyle’s men, down below. He seemed to be as good a fighter as his brother, and few vampires were able to get close to him.

Waves of fists, spells, and force surged toward Neil, relentless and unyielding. Suddenly, Kim appeared at the heart of the chaotic battlefield. Though his body was visibly weakened and his wounds had yet to heal, the determination and bravery in his eyes were undeniable. Seizing a brief moment when Neil was momentarily exposed, Kim dashed forward with all his remaining strength and plunged a sharp dagger into a crucial point beneath Neil’s ribs. For a moment, Neil's body stiffened, clearly feeling the pain. Gasping for breath, Kim shouted, “Quick! Hold him down! Wake up Neil!”

His little shy innocent Kim? "Look, I am not some innocent delicate flower. I'm a hot flesh and blood woman with real needs. It's been way too long. I want what my friends have. And if you can't or won't help with this situation, then I will find another brother who will." Kim replied crossing her arms. The thought of another brother touching her almost made him lose his mind. It was enough to help him make up his mind to give in. No way in hell was he letting her be with another brother.
