Zia Stephanie's POV I felt like time begun to lose its meaning. The passage of time felt like it was heavenly distorted where space time worked into different scale on the other dimension. What should only be a few minutes seemed like I had endured dew hours and what might feel like small width of time could be extensive.

Instantly, Natalie’s sharp voice rang out, “Who’s got rope? Get her tied up, fast!” “She’s always ruining my plans. Let her scream for help in Tanond and get no answer!” The recording even captured Sebatian’s impatient voice. “Hurry up. We don’t want to miss boarding, or Nat’s little show.” The projected chat continued scrolling. Tony handed me his business card and told me that I could contact him whenever I wanted if I wanted to look for a job next time. I heaved a small sigh of relief after having solved my cash flow problem for the time being. However, when flipping through some of my older designs, I suddenly felt a little taken aback. One of the designs was for a pair of wedding bands—the one that I designed for my wedding to Archer. But now, I had to wipe out this sweet memory of mine from my life forever for survival. Marley suddenly came up behind me and covered my eyes. "Guess who?" I laughed and grabbed him by his wrists. "Marley the puppy!"

All their attention was on Jessica. Freddie had spent his life as a warrior, achieving great military glory. He retired at 40 years old, married, and started a family. His son, Jonathan, was now 28 years old. Freddie himself was 68 years old, nearing his twilight years. Jessica Cook had just turned 18 years old. She was born when Freddie was already 50 years old. Having been born to him so late in his years, she was a rare gift. Thus, it was no surprise he spoiled her rotten.

“I am very used to you giving such excuses when it’s time to go out. Trust me, you will enjoy your time with those girls. They are friendly and you can always make an excuse if things go awry. Which I doubt!” “Wait, Maddison.” Clara whined. “You are to convince me not to-“ A loud bang echoed, making Clara jump up. She looked outside the window of her room but the sound was not from her side. “Are you okay, Maddison? What in the world was that sound?” Maddison didn’t reply and that put Clara on edge. “Maddison!” She yelled into the phone. Suddenly Maddison spoke in an unsettling tone, “I will call you later, Clara. I need to go right now. Also, please go to the Smiths.”

Eladia bit her lip as she looked up towards the clock hanging on the wall. “A little over three minutes.” My eyes widened, and I shot up, hobbling over to the closet to slip on the red high heels. I swiveled around and almost ran out of the door behind Eladia as she led the way. My heels clicked against the floor, which further annoyed me along with the slit going up my thigh. “If I move the wrong way, I could flash someone!” I whisper to Eladia who just giggled. “You look marvelous and you'll do perfect.” Her words did little to encourage me, but I still tried to calm my nerves with a deep breath.

"Freya, can you please give me a few minutes to clear things up?" There were a lot of passers-by, and several pairs of eyes looked over. Freya didn't want to embarrass herself, so she didn't struggle anymore. She uttered in an icy voice, "Alright, I'll give you two minutes to explain. But you have to let go of me first." Freddy didn't let go. "Promise me that you won't run away." Freya repeated, "Let go of me." Freddy let go of Freya, but he did not withdraw his hand completely for fear that he wouldn't be able to grab hold of her if she tried to run away. "Honey, I love you. You're the only one I love! Please believe me!"

The last time was an hour ago. “I’m waiting for someone. Thanks.” The waiter nodded and walked off. Freddie rubbed a hand down his face. Cassie's delay was the least of his problems. He should have destroyed the tape. The moment he realized what it was, he should have deleted it. Walked away. But he hadn’t. He’d gotten greedy. Thought he could use it to his advantage. Thought he could win Cassie’s heart. Stupid. Selfish. He checked the time again. “Calm down, Freddie.” He whispered. “She's only six minutes late.”

“My heart isn’t big enough for two people. As it is, I am content with having you by my side and have no plans to abandon you. “I only want to talk to him because I've decided I’ve had enough of him. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and to do that, I will need to deal with the waste that affects my mood.” “How long will you take?” Dominic asked timidly. Freya chuckled. “Is ten minutes okay?” Dominic considered it for a moment. “Five minutes, no more than that.” “Alrighty.” Freya checked the time before walking out. The moment Magnus saw her step out of the room, he trembled with excitement.

Freddy started, he took out another marijuana from his inner jacket pocket and lighted it up before he continued. “I must commend you for landing a blow on me, but you’ve just reduced the time you’d have to get me my money. Normally, I should be dead angry and rip you apart this instant but somehow, I don’t feel like it; i want to see you suffer bit by bit till you loose all of your sanity,” Freddy spoke with authority and power.
