It would've ended sooner, but someone downloaded an app to combine their photos to see what their children would look like and the jokes started all over again. Eventually, they got bored and moved on to other things; the occasional joke did come up, but it was mild in comparison to what they had to hear before. Krista and Cameron both made jokes of their own so they could at least be part of the joke and show it doesn't bother them.

I start with a small giggle on my face. “I spent my day work all day, mmm at my family company” I laugh. “W-what! That was so boring” Z laughs. “Huh, and I got drunk in the middle of the night, in my bedroom floor, and woke up on couch all the time” I end. Both of us laughing because of the story, our faces are getting red because of the laugh. “Oh, my goodness! “Oh, Trisha just told the funniest joke.” Fiona raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. “A joke? From Trisha? This I’ve gotta hear.” “Oh, don’t worry, you’ll get it,” Trisha said, still grinning. “Alright, here goes. Why don’t skeletons fight each other?” Fiona blinked, trying to think. “I dunno. Why?” “Because they don’t have the guts!” Trisha finished with a flourish, proud of herself. Kathryn cracked up again, and Fiona couldn’t help but join in, shaking her head. “Alright, alright, that’s bad, but it’s funny. You should be a stand-up comedian, Trisha.”
