Adrian paced back and forth in front of the hospital courtyard, occasionally glancing towards the hospital exit, hoping that the person he was waiting for would appear soon. But after waiting for a long time, the person he was waiting for did not show up. Adrian glanced at his expensive watch from time to time, saying angrily, "Where are they, actually! He leaves, returning shortly with the water. I hate this situation I find myself in right now. Having to sit and wait for someone who doesn't know how to keep to time. He said 12 noon, and time is already screaming 12:38 PM. Does he think little of me because I don't have a fancy job to keep me busy? I sigh as the thought of the possibility of him not showing up pierce my heart.

Daniel's POV I waited patiently for the person I had an afternoon meeting with that day, but I was slowly growing impatient a little, waiting was not a word found in my vocabulary. I'm a very punctual person and I expect everyone to be punctual as well. I stirred my coffee non-stop to keep busy because I was getting really aggravated. As soon as my eyes land on the person I was waiting for, I would wring his neck. The doors opened, and I looked up, catching his eye and he started smirking as he walked in my direction.

The third version tries to be funny, something about the watchtower materials joke gone too far, and I delete it because this isn't a moment for charm and I am done using charm as a shield against actually sitting with something hard. The fourth version I almost send. It just says: *No response needed. Just wanted you to know we're still here, still waiting, still not going anywhere. Whenever you're ready, if you're ever ready we'll be here.* I look at it for a long time. Then I delete it too.
