The liquid that clings to paralyzes them. It only lasts five minutes, but that’s plenty time to dispose of or capture them.” There were murmurs of appreciation from everyone that was new. We took our security seriously, and they could now see why we wanted them to come into our territory.

My lips twitched into a smirk and nodded my head to him. “Setting traps. I do love setting them. People are always very easy to catch with them,” I said. My boys felt entirely amused with that tidbit of information. They knew how well I laid a trap that always caught its prey each and every time. It took a few hours, but we finally came up with the perfect plan.

Vincenzo asked, gesturing to the array of colorful plush bunnies inside the claw crane machine. "The white and baby pink one," I replied without hesitation, my gaze fixed on the adorable toy that had caught my attention. It seems like it was asking me to free it. "Alright," Vincenzo said as he inserted a coin into the machine and took hold of the joystick. The claw descended gracefully, almost reaching the bunny on the first try. My heart raced with anticipation, but just as the claw was about to grasp the toy, Vincenzo winced in pain, causing him to lose his grip on the joystick.

He picked up a mid-sized log and crawled forward in a crouched position, slipping toward one of the traps they had set for animals, and humans too, from the looks of it. He reached the trap just as the fire behind him flared to life, the dry leaves and damp trunks catching quickly. Good. He heard the men’s startled voices from the camp. Then he dropped the log hard into the trap, enough to trigger the wires. A sharp snap rang out from the contraption, and Raphael let out a loud, pained howl into the air, pretending to be trapped.

But I was shocked to see them fighting! Lance started to throw Nic while Nic is trying to choke Lance. “What the hell is going on?!” My shriek caught their attention. They just wipe off the blood on their mouth and they laugh together. Okay, what was that? “Sorry, we weren’t able to see each other for years so that’s a way of greeting each other.” Nic explained when he noticed the shock expression on my face. They’re so weird.
