Near them, thin green cords connected the base of the forge to the magic tool that provided it with energy: the gem pannel. Gem panels were thin circular sheets of amethyst enchanted with [Low energy gathering], those were on a frame of jade that transmitted the energy towards the forge. Finally, a thin "cord" made out of jades connected the devices. None of it was new anymore. He nodded at Hugo, who turned back. Immediately, two men dressed in well-structured charcoal and grey suits stepped in. The aura surrounding them screamed bad news. Damien straightened and prepared himself for whatever was coming. “I am Andre Cortez, and this is my partner, Noah Feldman. We are representatives from GMGC,” the man in the charcoal suit said, stretching out his hand. Damien narrowed his eyes but accepted the handshake anyway. GMGC stands for Global Mining and Gem Council; the gemstone authority that approved his new releases. For them to visit him in person meant nothing good.

Elara called out, "she's pulling your rune field. Your link’s still open—” “I can close it.” “No,” Damien said. “You don’t know what this is going to cost.” “Tethered to me,” I said. “If I don’t prevent her, she’s going to blow herself up.” Vira raised her hand. Behold, a new rune - it was sort of jagged, sort of malformed -molded into her palm. Her voice went flat. “Final override accepted. Execute fusion.” “Jasmine, now!” Elara shouted.

I mumbled, feeling on the verge of tears. “One day when you’re old enough, you will have access to every single thing here and then nothing will be hidden from you. I know it’s in your nature to be curious but just wait a little bit, okay?” she said, patting me lightly before she hugged me. “I won’t snoop around anymore but could you at least tell me what those gems are?” I said, then she released me and looked at me suspiciously. “They are gemstones which connect you to your one true mate,” she said.

He is wearing a red collar, which identifies him as a guardian of King Moon. When he is two meters away from me he turns his head to the side with the intention of lunging towards my neck, I jump and dodge his attack but as soon as I fall to the ground I notice how Annabeth falls to the side, I turn quickly to see if she is ok and she nods at me. The guardian comes closer again but I'm faster and bite his neck, without breaking it, once I let him go I bite his right front paw listening to his

And her dumb Gemini did give up her inheritance. Evely Hunt handed her money to Vivienne on a silver platter, thinking that she was just returning the money to the mother who left it or her. She did not know about Everly before. It was natural that she would misunderstand. This event caused her fight with Francis to escalate to the point where Evely left the house to stay with Vivienne and Eileen whom she thought were her allies. Little did she know that after handing her money, she had become a useless pawn that was ready to be discarded. After two years, she was indeed discarded— used as a pawn in marriage to help boost Vivienne’s new husband’s business.

There was a pause and then Evand said, “It takes all three of us working together.” “That won’t be happening anytime soon,” said the other dwarf. “You know I’ve got dwarf number three inside me, right? If I swallowed you two, would I be able to control the elf?” “No!” they both said together. Sometimes when a dwarf says no, he means yes. “Just remember, even if it doesn’t work, I can swallow you and disconnect you from the gem. That means a lifetime stuck in my head. Believe me, you wouldn’t like it.” Neither said anything, but it felt like both gems shuddered in my hands. I put them away and took in the view. Beneath us were thousands of troops marching in square formation. Lizardmen and hu

Now all four of us was stuck in here. “Great plan.” Ruben scoffed. “You should have just left with the gems. They would have released us eventually. My father wouldn’t have let them keep us.” I sat down. “It doesn’t matter because I have the gems.” I opened my bag. “So how do I use them…?” “None of those gems can help us,” Ruben said. “You don’t know which are which do you?” Lexus asked. “You don’t know how she’s supposed to use them either.”

“We must continue our journey.” While he spoke, Dogori’s words played in her mind. He had said that to have any power over the undead army, the life gem and the death gem must be fused together in one being. It must apply to him too. But while he pulled his cloak back over his shoulders, she noticed something and her eyes widened, her hand dashing quickly to his chest to grab what had stunned her. Her heart hammering in her chest, each beat slimming recklessly against one another. Her breaths were loud and shaky as she spoke.

As we reached the peak, the gold and emerald light of our resonance flared with such visceral power that the magma in the nearby pool momentarily froze into glass. "You're the hilt, Emma," Félix rasped, his forehead resting against mine. "And I’m the hand. Nothing is taking you away." The forge was a massive, circular platform made of Memory-Silica and Cold-Iron. I took my place at the center, the Seven-Fold Vessel floating before me. "START THE CYCLE!" I roared. One by one, the essences were released. First, Solis. A beam of pure, golden solar-fire erupted from the vessel, turning the grotto into a second sun. I took the heat into my left hand, my skin turning a translucent, glowing amber.
