There is no time for hesitation today. More enemies surge upward from the streets below. Fae warriors riding dragons. Archers loosing arrows tipped with burning magic. A lesser dragon dives toward my throat. I twist aside and rip his wing clean off. He plummets screaming into the broken street far below. Another dragon circles behind me. I spin midair and drive my claws through his skull. Blood rains down across the battlefield. And still Seraphina’s music continues. I feel it moving through me now. Through the bond.

Dragon let out a devastating, animalistic roar. He drove his hips forward one final, punishing time, his massive frame trembling violently above me as he spilled his hot release deep inside me. As the heavy aftershocks wracked my body, I waited for the brutal, cold aftermath. I waited for him to pull out, adjust his clothes, and coldly discard me. Instead, Dragon collapsed fully against me. The brutal grip he had on my hips loosened instantly. He buried his face into my chest, right over my furiously beating heart, keeping himself buried deep inside me.
