They were so damn powerful. Haleen was a dragon/witch hybrid that we had helped rescue from our third feeding room infiltration. She had been friends with Ziyah before Ziyah was held prisoner by the Dark Fae. Haleen became mated to Klayrn, the leader of a Nabello demon pack that was then brought into our packs. She had been powerful before him but became a force of nature afterwards with the exchange of power that came when we marked our mates. Their son, Draven, was a tribrid who took after them both. Not only did he have a dragon form, but that form did not have a typical dragon’s fire when he breathed. Nope. It was Hellfire, which made him really damn lethal.

Soon the remainder of his father’s companions had been slain. Randey stared, quaking with helplessness. A hint of movement in the corner of his eye caused him to look skyward. It took his panicked mind a moment to register what it was he was seeing. A dark shape was gliding down the valley toward the site of battle. When he realized what it was, a glimmer of hope blossomed within him. It was a Dragon. Specifically, it was Ghaeron. Randey had never seen the Dragon Guardian before, but he had no doubt. The gleaming, reflective black scales shimmered with rainbow ripples as he soared ever nearer. Randey smiled, feeling that rescue for his father was at hand.

Just a lizard with wings. Recently, there have been many mixes of species along with the lands. Sirens to faes, Elves to wolves, the list goes on. A true mate knows no species; the goddess Selene does not discriminate. In fact, my half-brother was the first dragon to accept a mate of another species. Amora was a kind fae; her family lived at the bottom of the Dragon Shifter's mountain and often visited to play with both of us. Adam swore to me that she should have been born a dragon, his love for her as children made me realize he could be the mate he had always wanted.

Terran threw his head back in dramatic exhaustion, “or I swear to Gerber daisies I’m going to take this moment from you and tell them myself.” “You’re no fun,” I scowled at him, “fine. She’s mated to Mountain, who also goes by Rian, and is… a Dragon.” “Come again?” Alderic piped in. “Dragon. It’s this gross lizard-looking thing with wings. You know, all ‘I breathe fire’.” “Good Gardenia’s Nixon, they know what a Dragon is… although the way you described him was-” “Accurate,” I nodded my head in agreement.

Osiris pointed out. "The vision is unclear but I saw the spilling of blood and it scented the whole battlefield. And in the midst of the deads, there stood only two. A princess whose presence is of lucent hope and the other of the obscure darkness-the red dragon of an ancient story. Vetrik Jihn Drakon, the most powerful and detestably evil dragon of all." Leera stated in a trance as if she was seeing it happening before her. Her brows creased in concentration like she wanted to dissect every minute detail of the vision she might have received.

The Commander's voice was calm and triumphant. A sinister shadow materialized behind him, and the two soldiers flanking Caleb were sent hurtling into the crowd of onlookers. The leader staggered aside, revealing my brother with unsettling clarity. A dark, swirling aura emanated from Caleb's figure, his eyes ignited in a fierce crimson glow at the center of intricate black lines spreading across his skin, tracing down his face and neck. Waves of raw power surged from him, palpable in the air, as he took a deliberate step closer to me. He lunged forward with clawed hands towards the commander just before falling to the ground, revealing the man that was standing behind him, a sword hilt held t

“That’s your ‘safe point’?” The silver dragon let out a tiny belch of smoke. “You’re welcome.” “I’m confused,” Candy muttered, arms crossed. “Who are you people?” “I’m Selra,” said the white witch. “And I’m Velra,” added the black witch. “We’re the Veil-Twins,” they said in eerie unison. “I’m Pyrion,” the dragon yawned, curling into Haunter’s lap more tightly. “Dragon of the Spiral Flame. But you can just call me Pyr.”

Raisel screamed at the top of her voice nonstop. “There is a dragon in our camp!”, the giants cried with a loud voice, “Kill him”. The giants jumped and raised their hands to reach them, some swung clubs and swords at them. Dragomir skillfully dodged their weapons but he still flew low, careful not to get to the topmost surface which he was sure the giants had covered with a spell. Raisel was screaming nonstop but she couldn’t help it. One of the giants managed to grab his hind legs, he struggled against its hold and then he turned around and blew a breath of fire setting the giant aflame, he scampered about, spreading the fire before he fell to the ground in a thud rolling around.

Dude #2 yelled back suddenly. “Guys, we have no choice, we either do this or die when we go home, and if we run.. he’ll find us” dude#3 said. Unable to handle the truth of what awaits them, he started walking away from the other guys. ‘Sapphire, what are these guys?’ I asked my dragon, uncertain of their different scents. ‘That’s a delta dragon, gamma dragon and warrior dragon. That gamma dragon is the highest ranking one, deltas are like healers and warriors are obviously warriors,’ she laughed at me, making my fists clenched slightly.
