Gatekeeper Thor Novels & Stories

Their place was situated in a very exclusive village, where only the wealthiest people in the country could afford it. I saw George, one of our men, who was in charge of setting up the video surveillance inside the Floros' home, standing outside and leaning on the massive white gate that surrounded the entire home of the Floros'. There was a huge black bag, which I know contains his things to get his work done, slung on his shoulder. The moment he took notice of my car, he immediately stood straight. And after I momentarily parked my car in front of the massive gate, he then made his way towards me.

"Good day, sir, especially to my young master Thor, my name is Kiko, and I am the most trustworthy, reliable, and handsome—" When Thor clapped his hands and smiled at everyone, Kiko didn't finish what he was going to say. "Nice to meet you all. My name is Thorious Clark Ibanez, but you can just call me Thor for short, and I am happy to meet you all. From now on, I will rely my safety on all of you, thank you so much for accepting the job to protect me." Thor slightly bowed his head in front of everyone who was stunned by Thor's bowing.

And then looked at the fire crackling in front of them. “When the civilizations where young, the Lord of the Heavens chose three gifted humans to protect the chamber of knowledge and history. He chose them not because of their lineage but because for their specific gifts. One could summon any creature, both magical and mythical, another could make the elements stopped as if he lorded it while another controls the elements. They’re called the guardians. Their purpose is to protect the secrets which lies inside the Chamber and only them could access it.” “Why so, mama?” she inquired as she inched closer to her mother.

The moment they saw Thorne and Marcus approaching, one of the guards reached for the radio mounted on his lapel. “DON’T TOUCH IT,” Marcus warned, drawing his sidearm in one smooth motion, leveling the barrel dead center at the guard’s chest. Both guards froze, slowly raising their hands into the air. Thorne stepped up to the heavy door of Room 304, swiping the brass keycard across the biometric lock. The indicator light flashed from red to green with a sharp BEEP. He shoved the door open with broad shoulders, stepping inside to shield me as I followed close behind.

As a low-ranking outer sentry who earned pennies, his breath hitched. "The Alpha... Oscar Wayne... he’ll kill me if he finds out," Thomas whispered, his eyes darting frantically between the money and the dark forest. "Oscar Wayne will never know," Katherine whispered, shoving the envelope directly into his trembling hands. "Open the gate, Thomas. Secure your future, or spend the rest of your miserable life guarding dirt in the dark." Greed completely erased the guard's loyalty. With shaking fingers, Thomas swiped his security keycard across the digital lock panel. The iron gate clicked open with a soft, heavy hiss.

"I think it’s time for you to meet Argun—the Gatekeeper." Charlene’s curiosity peaked. "Argun? The Gatekeeper?" Seth nodded. "He’s the one who controls access to the realms. He has the power to decide who enters the place of judgment. And we need his permission for you to pass safely." Seth explained that Argun had been the Gatekeeper since the beginning of the realm. A towering figure with untamed hair, he was a being of enormous strength and unwavering authority. His hounds—each terrifying in their own right—were bound to him, kept in chains but ready to be unleashed at a moment's notice. Seth had already seen their fury once before, and he knew the cost of challenging Argun’s rule.
