Suddenly, Katleho made her way from behind us. “You need to come see this!” she said, holding a glass cube, the size of a hand.It had tiny ships in it, there were 5. “What is this?” I asked. “There are more in here.” Katleho said, opening a black rectangular box. “ This one has sand.”Mika said, holding up one of the glass containers. “This one has flowers and grass in it and a tiny house.” I said, holding up one of the glass container cubes. “What is this?” Mika asked.

“What is it?” I turn my head slowly toward the far corner of the room. There’s a glass of water on the edge of his desk. I watch as a thin crack appears along the surface, then another. Leo’s arm wraps fully around my waist, pulling me back. “Poppy.” “I didn’t touch it,” my voice sounds distant. The cracks deepen, splintering outward in slow, silent lines. Jake goes very still. “This is different,” he says under his breath. The air feels strange, as if something is pressing outward instead of pulling in. Then it stops. The glass doesn’t shatter, it just holds. Fractured, but still holding the liquid.

“Yes, but what concerns me is that long glass wall. While it showcases a great view of the lake, it also creates some added points of vulnerability, in my opinion. The young woman we spoke with mentioned that the exterior glass is triple insulated to keep the room’s temperature constant. What I do not know for sure is if the glass is also shatter-resistant, or if it would come completely apart if a round was fired through it. Speaking of which, I took the following photographs and emailed them to Pete. Pete, if you could please bring those up?” “Sure.” “Allen, I can make some calls and try to find out what type of glass was installed,” Jack offers. “A friend of mine owns the construction com

‘Wait, little piece of glasses? Curious, I walked closer to what looked like little pieces of glass, all in different colours. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that none of them possessed a sharp point, all rounded up as if it were meant to be held, picked up and played with. ‘Clever idea, but what for?’ thinking to myself, I picked one up, all of them are in a odd shape and different colours and it doesn’t make any sense,

In minutes the constables had it taped off and diversions were set. The glasses were so ubiquitous that Mac didn't think tracing their sale was even possible. They were on every teenager within a three mile radius whether they needed them or not. Still he leant forwards with a gloved hand and placed them in an evidence bag. Who knows, they might get lucky. Somewhere on the black plastic rims could be an epithelial or a partial print. The lack of lenses was curious and irritating, a prescription lens would have been something to go on.

It still feels weird, still feels wrong. Unsure of how much time I waste pacing the room, my eyes fixate on the broken frame. Dodging shards of glass, I pluck the frame from the mess. The picture still sits inside the wooden frame. Shaking some of the glass loose, I flip it over. There’s nothing else that could make what Gideon said more true than this picture staring back at me.

Nate asked in surprise. I also noticed the approach of its bodyguards but they didn't make it obvious. "Maybe, the glass is not that good when it was molded. It needs a high temperature to liquidize sand." I just answered. Nate smiled at my answer. "It's a wonder that you didn't freak out about what happened." It promised me. I smirked. "A broken glass is not enough to surprise me." I'll just answer here. "Alpha girl." He sneered.

He did not see that there was someone in front of him so the collision was inevitable.

If my eyelash was to fall, it would be visible for me to pick it up from the floor. I hope I break nothing. I didn't want to hold the shiny glassed she was holding with just her fingers. They must be crystal and very expensive. It made me more nervous. “I have red and white!” she looked over her shoulder. “I’ll have some a little later. I will take water for now.” I smiled, hoping my nervousness is not too visible. “Ok,” she smiled, nodding. “Umm, we bought a cheesecake. Hope you like it.”

Is there anything in my house that looks normal to you? Forgetting how many times I had sighed this morning, I took a deep one before getting up from my seat. I reached out to the tray of water and began pouring the water into both glasses. "I don't own a gold goblet in this house, so bear with it," I said, handing one of the glasses to him while keeping one for myself. "And this see-through thing is called glass. From now on, if you want to drink water, milk, or any juice, just pour it into this thing. Gosh. I can't believe your kingdom doesn't owe any glasses." He didn't respond, lifting the glass to his lips and taking a sip. A funny expression plastered his face when he tasted the water,
