Freyja was surprised and looked at her, “Your assistant?” Daisie wouldn’t want her to think that she was being charitable, so she said, “You’re thinking for Deedee. Even if you sell your publishing rights, you need many years to write a book, so you need some money to survive. My mom says that children cost a lot. If you work as my assistant, I’ll pay you so you can write comfortably.” After a moment of silence, Freyja burst out laughing. “You’re trying to throw money in my face?”

They have given me 4 months to land a best-seller.”

I am as desperate as ever. I walk into the school half aware of my surroundings as I make my way towards the four storey building focused on my phone. An ad suddenly pops up and without caution, my eyes land straight on the pay without even checking out what sort of job. It goes wide instantly. Holy bloody finances!!!! $10,000 per month. What the fuck.....!! Shit. I am about to check the details when someone as hard as a rock bumps into me and I think I hear my shoulder bone crack.

"Clara, you should go. You're a painter. You can't earn anything sitting in a room. But I'm a writer. As long as I have my phone, I can take orders. I can't write anything substantial right now. But I can do cheap filler content, the kind that pays a few dollars per piece." She had always looked down on that kind of writing. It was pure filler, with no substance and no real plot. She had never understood how anyone could churn it out. Didn't they have standards? Didn't they have ambition? But the moment the words left her mouth, something shifted inside her. Who would choose that kind of work willingly? No one. Life simply left you with no other choice, and you did what you had to do.

He was very tired upon getting back, the exhaustion of his mind more prevalent than the exhaustion of his body. Then the next day came. The good news made him smile for a while and he sincerely thanked Lucy for her effort. After all, the online market was just really not into horror, but romance and fantasy.

I write for them because I want to share something that can give an impact, even for just a second. I know how they feel because I am a reader myself.
