Staring back at her from the screen was her good friend, Oscar. “Hey.” She said with a smile. “Hello.” He replied. She noticed he wore black singlets, with his dog tag on, which indicated he was on an army base somewhere. “Where are you?” She asked. “Syria. My tour will be ending in two weeks.” There was poor network connection for a few seconds which muted the screen. Then Oscar’s voice came on again. “…me?” “What did you say?” She asked. “I got your text last night. You missing me?”

"D-Did you figure it out?" The man who was always dominant in the workplace struggled to speak those words. I nodded, only to realize he couldn't see me. Yet I remained silent. I no longer had the courage to speak. After a long pause, I finally asked, "W-Where is Sebastian buried?" Sethian's voice was still rough when he answered, "At Guthram Cemetery." I immediately searched for it on my phone. Guthram Cemetery was a small, not-so-well-known cemetery located on the outskirts of the city. It was serene and beautifully maintained, and the grounds were cleaned daily.

As he flipped through the yellowed old pages, he sat down on the neatly made bed and began to read, curiosity etched on his features. Don Carianno’s writing was in beautiful cursive. It looked like he took his time to scribble, dotting all his i's and crossing his t's. He flipped through the first pages, there was an entry about a new shipment, but it didn’t make sense. He could not decipher the code words. He flipped through a few more pages, and that was when he saw an entry about him. It read: "Ghost, that’s what we’re going to name him. He’s, after all, a Ghost."

After escorting the young recruits, the deity of 9th space went to the gathering place of the deities. “Oh, number nine!” Everyone was so excited to see the 9th deity. “Hey, I have a name.
