During the first day of the semester, my boyfriend, William Evans, brought my luggage up to my dorm room for me. Out of the four of us who would share a dorm room, I was the last one to arrive. There are doors as far as the eye can see on the long hallway and they are all open. As we go forward, the inhabitants of the room get down from their beds and come to the door, staring at me with huge eyes. Children. Teenagers.
