WITH ONLY one day left to Halloween, the people of Cape Cod were already setting into the mood of the Oktoberfest event. House yards were filled with spooky figures like white cloths to represent ghosts and the jack-o'-lanterns of course. Jake had stashed the book inside a compartment in his room, hoping the degenerate creatures of the dark would not find it. Certainly, there had to be a way to destroy all of them with the book and not just lifting it up in front of them when they showed up.

He stood up and walked to where he used to out his books, he took a small but old looking book and came back to where he was sitting, next to me. "I read it in this book , there is a certain theory which say that people might have ghost clones, these clones looks and dresses exactly like the original you and they can do anything you can do. Sometimes if you are lucky you can have a good clone but if you are unlucky you are likely to have a bad and evil clone , which means you are unlucky because yours is evil" he explained. His explanation shocked me , i have never heard such things and I've never believed in ghost theories.

He stood straight with a serious face as he began his explanation. "Ghosts are the souls of dead humans who... well, aren't ready to rest in peace. They don't have powers. All they can do is move from one place to another without being seen. Well, not by everyone though." "But... if you're a demon, why then are you in this form?" She couldn't help but ask.

Watching Haunters with a bunch of ghosts turned out to be way funnier than I would’ve ever expected. It wasn't hard to see the distinction between love and indifference. Leon panted, scanning the dim corridor as his breath came in uneven bursts. Suddenly, a faint figure emerged out of the shadows—the female ghost. Her face was blurred and indistinct, her presence otherworldly. She didn’t speak but raised a hand that glowed faintly blue, pointing silently in a specific direction. Leon froze, instinctively stepping back half a pace. But time was slipping through his fingers, and hesitation was a luxury he couldn’t afford. Clenching his jaw, he forced himself to follow the ghost’s lead.

Every step tightened the pressure behind his sternum, pulling him deeper. “You always hated this place,” Vex’s voice echoed suddenly, smooth and amused. “Said it smelt like ghosts.” Riven stopped. The voice came from everywhere and nowhere—reverberating through tunnels, bleeding through walls. “Funny thing,” Vex continued. “Turns out ghosts don’t leave. They just change shape.” Riven’s jaw set. “Show yourself.” Laughter rippled through the dark. Lights flickered to life one by one, revealing a massive junction chamber ahead—old control panels, broken signal boards, and cables hanging like exposed veins.

She radiated a terrifying presence. However, there was a problem. Eliza, a famous ghost from the fog-shrouded city of Blackmoor, already dominated the long-haired ghoul archetype. Viewers would automatically compare this ghost to Eliza and dismiss her as ordinary, leaving her perpetually at the bottom of the NPC popularity rankings.
