No Escape From Fate

No Escape From Fate

“Most likely, the others are sleeping somewhere nearby.” That’s when the fear became absolutely surreal. What had I ever done in my life to deserve this? Which higher powers did I accidentally offend to end up in adventures like these?! Beneath the outline of the gort’s head, I could now see the massive, enormous body of the giant. He was colossal—easily the size of a five-story building. Terrified for our lives, we moved almost soundlessly. Even the horses seemed to sense the danger, stepping as quietly as possible.

A DRAGON TALE

A DRAGON TALE

The beauty of Camp Gigant was nowhere near Islandia but it was beautiful much more than any place on earth. This wasn’t what she expected in the least, giant were supposed to be dirty and tattered creatures at least that was what the books made them out to be. There were a lot of tall trees, with different kinds of fruits. The flowers were in a variety of colours and shapes and were scattered neatly about. It just looked like a wide expanse of land, there were no buildings or tents or wood houses in view. It was like everyone just seemed to live outside. They were a lot of giants around, male and female, save for the animal skin wrap around their waist, they wore nothing else. The women had

Ishida suggested after a period of silence. “But how? That doorknob is so high above us!” Rhina pointed out. Suddenly, the ground started trembling as though there was an earthquake. These were heavy footsteps— the footsteps of a giant. “Who’s there?” a very loud voice called out. “Show yourselves to me!” Ishida turned to the direction that the noise was coming from. He jumped at the sight of a two-eyed giant whose knee was the height of the wooden door. The giant had a shiny bald head and wore a brown tunic. He was staring at the tiny humans in front of him.

Beauty Behind The Shadow

Beauty Behind The Shadow

An earth-shaking tremor hit the ground and then three more progressively closer. Helia felt a tightness hit her stomach upon feeling the impacts of his footfalls shake through her body. That...didn't feel like a twenty-foot giant. Abruptly a tall, dark brown boot emerged from the cave entrance which immediately made Helia regret her decision. This giant's boot was nearly as tall as the "giants" she was accustomed to slaying. Apparently, the stories weren't so exaggerated about his size. Mistakes had been made...fatal mistakes.

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

the lady exclaimed as Mane’s aura threatened to drown her in its power. Her eyes flashed with a strange glow and she saw what many could not. Around the boy she previously disregarded was a giant so tall that she couldn’t see its head. In the hands of this giant was a scepter of gold and silver, and its feet were adorned with bronze boots. There was a white robe interlaced with golden silk threads covering the frame of this giant. And though it wasn’t a perfectly formed image, it still brought a chill to her when she stared at it for too long. This was Mane’s aura! It was usually invisible, but this woman’s special eyes revealed the invisible to her.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Maid In Lace

Maid In Lace

Clad only in an oversized shirt that loosely drapes over her shoulders, she finds herself exposed to the darkness that envelops her. The slight sway of the fabric reveals glimpses of her perfectly fair body, adding an unintended allure to her unintentional vulnerability. Underneath the shirt, she wears only her undies, her bare skin tingling with a mixture of anticipation and unease. Summoning her courage, Elizabeth cautiously makes her way toward the door, her bare feet silently gliding across the floor. Each step is accompanied by a heightened sense of awareness, her senses attuned to any signs of danger or unwelcome presence.

BLOOD BOUND TO HER THREE MATES

BLOOD BOUND TO HER THREE MATES

The giant finally yawned and stretched on the floor, promptly falling asleep. “Gotcha.” She whispered as she silently climbed out of the cot. She creeped to the door and stepped out, gently closing it behind her. She spun around, ready to run when she came face to face with a male giant. Her heart lunged into her rib cage and she held his rheumy eyes for a moment. She knew him, he was the very giant that had followed her into the Martoshi’s tent. His lips curved into a satisfied smirk on catching her and he lunged for her. She ducked under his grip and turned heel. “What in the name of-!” She snapped, frustrated. The bastard was a dogged one wasn’t he? And he was at risk of blowing her cover

GEEKY GIRL REVENGE

GEEKY GIRL REVENGE

But in the mirror, Tatiana with braces appeared, staring straight at me. “You're too easily swayed, Ana.” My smile faded. “Do you remember how long you were broken? Don’t be fooled by that smile again. You once believed his warmth was real. Are you really willing to go through it all over again? Remember Ana, crocodiles hunt in silence. They wait until their prey feels safe, then devour it whole. I doubt you’ll be able to rise like this again if it happens to you one more time. Don’t become the kind of woman who loses herself just because someone knows how to make her feel seen.”

The Billionaire's Unknowing Wife

The Billionaire's Unknowing Wife

And apparently, the woman was nearly falling off the chair in her sleep. Seriously... What exactly was wrong with this woman? “Pardon me,” I muttered before gently removing Ciara’s hand from my arm and walking quickly toward my assistant before she completely collapsed onto the floor. The moment I reached her, I steadied her carefully by the shoulders before sighing quietly under my breath because she looked completely exhausted. “Seriously, woman,” I muttered while preparing to wake her up. But then I noticed something strange. Her annoying glasses were gone. And somehow, without them, Mrs. Evans looked entirely different from her usual composed and professional self because for once, she n

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

I was walking back to one of the cottages where Denise was when a group of kids scurried off from behind me, literally running me over, causing me to almost trip. Good thing, I was able to hold on to the rail beside me and broke my fall. I resisted the urge to shout a curse at them. I looked down, and saw that my slippers did not survive the incident. I reached down to see if I could still fix it enough to at least wear it until I reached the cottage. Hopefully, Denise would have a spare. As I tried to fix my slipper, I stood on one foot, alternating my feet as the cement was too hot for my soles.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.
