"If that call doesn't come to me today then I would have never known about this fact. And neither will I know that I have any blood relative in this world. I'm not without acquaintance." With more drops of tears in her eyes she was looking straightly into Wadan's eyes while telling him. He was staring at her with a helpless look as she was backing away. But he got astonished at the words that came out of Hadia's mouth. "Whose calling are you talking about....who told you all this?" Now his tone becomes a bit rigid on what Hadia just said. I got to the garden and sat on the bench I usually sit on. “Gova, I have arrived with very good news to share with you. I have finally exacted revenge on my uncle. I fooled him using an old trick,” I continued. “I knew my uncle was very greedy so I organized a meeting announcing that I would be giving out money to the needy. It got to his turn and I remembered him of the past, I remembered what he usually says to me and how he refers to me as the burden of the family. I remembered how he always blames me for the death of my parents. He begged but I didn’t

I said, and Gabriel nodded. "I do not think Gaddafi is a threat. You should see the way he looked at your mother. His family seemed decent, but we can't take things at face value. I agree with you that they will have to inform us how they learned our language since we do not speak the same tongue. I mean, hear their names. I have never heard of such names in my entire life. I have lived long enough," He said, and we both chuckled because we did live long, except if we were killed in war; maybe that was why my uncle never had the need to have a child. I tried to find his so-called daughter, but it was all a lie. Uncle Fredrick killed his mates before they could even conceive or give birth. He

Kean said, continuing to stare at Gaia's cute face, the man did not choose shoes for the girl. "When Daddy went to America, you know," Gaia said and tapped her chin with one finger like she was thinking hard. "Ahhh ... yes, sorry-sorry. Pan got a call from Uncle's mom, saying that Uncle's dad is sick," said Kean, making Gaia nod in understanding. "Ahh ... yes, Gaia forgot. I'm sorry for making Uncle sad." The little girl cupped Kean's face so they could look at each other. "To make uncle less sad, Gaia will marry uncle when she grows up," Kean pleaded, causing Arka to snort and hit the man on the head with a new shoe.

Nonetheless, I knew we were not meant to be, so I wrote my feelings for him in the diary. If Benjamin had not read the diary, I would have lived on as the obedient niece… but that was not the case. He read my diary and tore it into pieces. He thought I was disgusting to develop a romantic feeling for him. "What is wrong with you? I'm your uncle! Yes, we're not related by blood, but I'll forever be your uncle. And that's all!"

"Now, I see where the problem is coming from." "What problem?" I asked the old man. "Are you not an Igbo man?" "Yes I am an Igbo man so is my uncle." "Wonderful!" Is there something wrong with that?"
