Craving Him, My Step-Brother

Craving Him, My Step-Brother

I was trying so hard to remember where I knew him from. “You don't remember me?” He arched his brows, narrowing his eyes on me. “No, I'm trying hard to.” I replied, an apologetic smile on my face. “Let me save you the stress of raking your brain.” He leaned closer, our faces just inches away, yet I didn't move back. “I'm Gideon, the guy who saved you from those girls, few weeks back.” Yes! Yes! I remembered him. I've been trying to get information about him, but it seemed like he was a ghost without any trace or whatsoever.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

It made him feel a sort of pressure that he hadn’t felt in a long time. “The people of the Liberated are such cowards! Thankfully, they’ve prepared an incredible prey for me tonight. I’m interested in seeing who’s willing to assist them in their fight against the Jackals!” Gideon had arrived at the manor’s main gate. In front of him stood a massive iron gate. It was neither opened nor locked. He paused in front of the iron gate while peering inside. He didn’t reach for the iron gate. Instead, he launched a punch into the air.

The Alpha’s Banished Luna

The Alpha’s Banished Luna

He stared, unfocused for a moment before another strained sound slipped out of his mouth and his eyes almost bulged out of their socket, jittering with fear. I smirked at his reaction. Good. Just the expression I wanted. Then I spoke slowly, my voice carrying the weight of a command, heavy with compulsion that could not be resisted. “Who are you?” I demanded. His only good eye darkened with a soft glow, caught in the power of my compulsion and his lips parted. “I am Gideon, a rogue assassin from the dark hive.”

I'm Out of Your League Now

I'm Out of Your League Now

He was a notorious kingpin in Solandra who often lurked in the waters of the Golden Triangle, with thousands of lackeys under his command. During their last encounter, Pierce was heavily injured, while Gideon also suffered a huge financial loss. It took Gideon until now to fully recover. The police had been relentless, just like flies that were difficult to get rid of. "I won't hesitate to kill you right now. This is for my fallen brothers." Despite saying that, Gideon didn't make a move right away. He was worried that Pierce might be bait for an ambush nearby. "Mr. Graves, please come aboard. I personally came all the way here to ask for your help," Pierce simply said.

little bit misunderstanding is fiiine.. but I don't like such stupid plots with leads deliberately making remarks that'd let other lead to misunderstand and then each continue to live in their own delusional world making conclusions about each other. it's agonizing to read such stories...

The story still shows ongoing but there was no update today and the last update ended with a chapter not even a page long. Can we please get an update or at the very least a final chapter for Millie and Pierce’s happily ever after?

He notices the fear in her voice and sits down on the ground where he was, hoping it would make her feel a little calm. “I live a little far from here. I just got into a fight with my father and walked away. I kept walking and walking and walking until I looked up and saw the lights. I—I’m sorry. I am actually a little lost. I haven’t reached this side of the island before.” His last sentence piqued Leora’s interest. “Sounds like an adventure waiting to happen. Who are you again?” “Oh, uh, I’m Gideon Willows II. I’m named after my grandfather.”

Sold to My Sister’s Mate

Sold to My Sister’s Mate

At the mention of Gideon's name, Silas's expression grew even more sinister. "Gideon?" he sneered. "That exiled traitor? You know him? So you're the little spy who stole the code from him." Gideon… exiled? A traitor? My mind went blank. The shock was too great to process. "The Silver Peak Pack? You?" Silas's mental pressure crushed down on my fragile consciousness. "I've been with the pack for ten years and I've never seen you. A mongrel like you dares to impersonate royalty?"

Dead at only twenty-two—and Gio had killed him. Gio The broadcaster on the small television in Gio's garage stood outside the cemetery where services for Trinidad had been held. The light from the television screen was the only thing that illuminated the otherwise dark garage. Gio wasn't even listening anymore. He'd stopped listening hours ago, but still, he sat there on his Raiders beanbag, like he had for days, staring at the screen.

I say, "I think we're a stronger team than last year, but we still have a few bad apples that bring us down. Give us another year. We'll go all the way." We make small talk for a few minutes. Marlene updates us on the new music director at their church and how much fun he is to work with. Elizabeth tells us about a new project she's working on at her architecture firm. Geovany gives us the low-down on his latest blind date that Erika sent him on and why he will never trust her judgment on women again. That earns him a towel to the face, curtesy of our oldest sister, who apparently doesn't appreciate Geovany's aversion to older women because, in Erika's words, "She's so nice, though!"
