Romans & histoires Gifts Of The Magi

Adara turned and threw the mistletoe into the fire. Lisa stepped forward, holding a glass bottle. “I present to you, the gift from Njord. May your worldly love multiply like the salt water of the seas that Njord commands.” Annette stepped forward. “I present to you, barley. May you never hunger for knowledge, wisdom, or prosperity.” She placed the barley bag at Adara’s feet. Rosie stepped forward. “I present to you, pennies, so that your wealth may multiply.” She placed the pennies at Adara’s feet.

I smiled at him. Being so short, I had to get on a table for everyone to see me. I mind-linked the pack and Kimi at the same time. "Before we eat and say prayer to the Goddess, it is time to give gifts. We do this because the Goddess gave us the gift of life, mates, and the ability to be our wolves. So give your gifts, and we will pray and eat in a little bit." I approached Cade, who was smiling and looking down at me. He really did tower over me.

"You're so sweet. How did you think of celebrating our birthday?" Zacharias hurriedly put the cake on the table and joined us. He hugged me tightly from the side. "Thank you, darling." After much effort, I finally broke free from their tight embrace. I walked quickly towards a table. With one pull, the white cloth covering the objects on the table was blown away. "Ta-da! I prepared these gifts for you! I chose the gifts with all my heart, so I hope you'll like them." "The black gifts is for Zaire, the red gifts is for Zacharias, and the blue gifts is for Zephyr."

Their bows to me were insincere, their smiles thin as paper. Gilbert, at least, seemed genuine. He bowed deeply. “My queen,” he said with a deep bow. “It’s an honor. I trade in the North, but as Alaric’s only living male relative, I couldn’t miss this.” He clapped, and a servant carried forward a carved box. Inside lay lavender incense, rare trinkets, and fine fabrics. “Each gift represents prosperity, wellness, and wisdom,” Gilbert said proudly. I smiled. “Flattery accepted.”

Her name was spelled out in glitter. "I think I was about six when I made that," she smiled. "The Christmas ornaments were some of the few things I took from my dad's house." He grinned. "I like it." When the gifts were over, Maggie had a new hand-crocheted toilet-roll cover. Michael had a $10 gift card to Starbucks. "Guess somebody didn't get the memo," he quipped so that only Maggie heard, and she giggled softly. He winked and leaned close. "Mags, I should be making my way to the airport."

From the parents to the other extended family who were also present and wondered how awful she must feel. "I'm guessing the Luna had a nice night?" Magnus said coming to my side and I smiled. "Yes, she did. And it's all thanks to you. I appreciate Magnus, I sent a few gifts, I don't know if you saw it." I said and he smiled. "Yes iIsawII saw but I'm yet to open them." He said and I wondered why. "And why is that?" I asked turning fully to him. "Alpha. Gifts are for those who do favors. I however did not do you a favor, I only did my duty as I am meant to serve you with all I have." He said with a bow and his words touched me.

The guests keep coming and bringing some memories for this date. We do not exchange gifts at Christmas, only on January 6 , Day of Kings where Melquior, Gaspar and Baltazar , the wise men, bring gifts to everyone just as they did with the baby Jesus. I remember well that I wrote my letter to them asking for the gifts I would like to receive on the morning of January 6.

Lirle said. I started to run over, but my wings lifted me from the ground and I gasped. Crying and laughing at the same time, I studied my reflection in the polished glass. Though I was relatively clean from my bath in the river, my hair was a mess and my shirt was in tatters. I pushed that aside and turned, watching my new wings flutter. They were large and black and reptilian, like those of a dragon - like Troy's. My love, I thought, desperate to be with him again. I moved and the light hit my wings just right. They sparkled with the colors of the seven magics. "They are beautiful," I said, flying back over to Armond and Karelle. My hands clasped together in prayer, I bowed before them wit

And knowing what it felt like, I never want to outgrow being his baby. The crowd cheered on as they rendered an ovation. Quietly, I said a few words of thanks to the moon goddess, my eyes shut and mind ablaze. Alpha Reid let go of me and stepped aside for others to drop their gifts. Gold and jewels and expensive perfumes. Wines and beautiful wears and crazy items. Regardless the best gift of them all is the one beside me, who's now before me, Conan. When the others saw him quietly stand in front of me, they went still. Like he ordered them to, or they were waiting for him to perform magic.

Josiah was overwhelmed with gratitude and promised to use the armor to protect the kingdom and its people. For Japheth, Luna gave him a magical amulet that would enhance his strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. The amulet was crafted by the finest witches in the land and was said to have been worn by some of the greatest leaders in history. Japheth was humbled by the gift and promised to use it to help the kingdom prosper. Hobert, their uncle, was also present at the ceremony. He watched with pride as his nephews were rewarded for their hard work and dedication. He knew that the King's bloodline would continue with greatness, thanks to the strength and courage of Josiah and Japh
