Gifts Of The Magi Novels & Stories

Right now, the princes are both inside a popular store in the capital known for its high prices and excellent quality jewels while choosing a gift for Alesteria's receivance. It is supposed to be one gift, and that gift must solely rely on the giver. In accordance with this occasion, a gift should be given with the intention of wishing the receiver good health and prosperity. But the giver is known as the 'Maddog Prince' whilst the one who gave his advice is called the 'Winter Prince'. Even the knights are cautious towards them. "I was thinking of choosing something that Ales will use in the future." Aimilios said out loud, looking at the various jewels on display.

The gifts were shiny and expensive; Esha would have rather preferred a bunch of lilies. She opened the package, running the list of possibilities in her head. Ring ... Pendant ... Elder Wand ... she smiled silently. Surprisingly, the gift wasn’t anything she had expected. It was a beautiful hand-crafted souvenir of the Charles Bridge, the historic bridge over the Vltava river in Prague. The vibrant colours along with a silver border made it a perfect, yet inexpensive gift. There was a price tag, three euros. She kept it.

During this particular night, however, things were particularly strange. Most of the gifts were for Nicole while the rest were for Mr. Riddle Sr., with no mentions of his name at all. Furthermore, there were quite a number of powerful families from the other cities present as well. Dillon did not know them personally, but they were so well-known that Dillon could not summon the guts to approach them. All of the gifts they had presented consisted of precious and rare items. The prices were also astronomical. "What is going on, honey?" Miley asked, her fading smile growing stiffer by the second.

Algin nodded his head, “Mn, he always knows, and he even said he’ll give us three gifts.” “I received them already, but I was told not to open them until after you give birth,” Igris said and took them out of his spacial ring. Algin looked at the gifts, then waved his hand. The kids were discarded of the boxes and out floated three crowns. Igris and Algin smiled. “You know, I wish sometimes that I could have his abilities. He predicted that I’d meet you and that I’d love you enough to where I’d put myself through excruciating pain,” Algin said.

The amount is exactly my age, we all gathered in the Hall and I received some gifts. Gifts of wine from Rhince, 100 year old scented lotus from Ashton, and anti-venom from Ashley. Heather and the Legion troops even greeted me, and they presented me with antique swords from the Middle East. But when I'm here and receive a gift from Gael, it makes me feel weird...

The girl was none other than I, Rachael Santiago, the daughter of Raphael and Vanessa Santiago. My parents were council members of a secret society of supernaturals, Synx, and the owners of Santiago groups of companies. Supernatural, gifted, or part-human, you name it. In short, humans carry magic in their lineage. We could do stuff other people can only dream of or either pulled in movies. Every member of the special families, or as we called clans, has different and unique gifts of their own. We carried our gift from birth. We could feel it within us. However, due to the incapacity of our human bodies to deal with such extreme powers, we couldn’t control it until we crossed the age of majo

The temple columns glowed brighter and the torches’ fires cracked in excitement and burst in the air. The beautiful enchanter did as she was told by Ditiori and stood between the beast and the embodied spirit. The goat-head servant had placed the burlap purse on the top of the wicker box Maga had. “Untie the twine of your drawstrings! Describe to Ditiori and the others what you see!” said Gai-Dalit, holding Maga’s keepsake box while the maiden untied the strings of the purse. Maga clapped her hands and her brown eyes widened, “Words of bewilderment come forth from my mouth! The brown grains have changed to stout golden grains!”

“we thank you for answering our call. Accept this offering of goldenberries, blessed fruit of the Elves, as a token of our faith and devotion. May they restore your strength so that you may rise again and help us bring truth to light.” “We give these to you with grateful hearts,” Alaric continued. “not for ourselves, but for the world that suffers under Dareth’s hand. May this humble gift be enough to restore even a fraction of what was taken from you. Accept them, Nemyra, and stand with us.” Together, they lifted the container high before placing it at her feet. The moment the berries touched the ground, a radiant glow spread from the offering, curling upward like smoke until it wrapped aro

"She is risen, she is risen." How am I understanding them? I shouldn't be able to. I've never been taught their language. The leader of the magi rises first. Taking my hand in hers, she spits into my palm. Instantly, noxious vapor rises, curling my lip as she digs his nail into my palm, fresh blood mixing with his poisonous spit. When I try to shake it off, two of the magi come around to hold my arms in place.
