My Soulmate

My Soulmate

Leading me into a room filled with dog cages. I stare at them with wide eyes, hoping they're not silver. Since werewolves' weaknesses are silver. "Cages? As in cells with silver?" I ask in fear, feeling my body getting reckless from it. "Not silver, that's unhealthy. Strong metal, able to hold them in without setting them free into the streets." "Ah okay." I sigh in relief, hoping he doesn't notice my behavior. After explaining every procedure in the whole shelter, I suddenly got distracted staring into his brown eyes...

This is not just a house but a citadel . It was almost appearing like a castle . What does he do to own such magnificent property . It was like he is some kind of ruler . It appeared my husband is quite rich . Our car stopped before the entry of mansion 's door . I slowly climbed down the car incorporating the views vividly in my brain but noting feels familiar . It's all new . I slowly entered the mansion bashfully after him . The entrance let us to the main hall . My eyes bugged as I saw everything so luxurious . The

The Alpha's Surrogate Bride

The Alpha's Surrogate Bride

Two weeks had passed between my fingers like sand grains, and I was left entangled in the opulent maze of affluence that had become a restricting maze. The previously opulent palace of a room felt now like a gilded prison, its pretentious magnificence taunting me with its expensive furniture. The rich curtains and finely carved furnishings that had previously suggested wealth had become mute witnesses to my loneliness and the contradictory character of my being. The mirror's gold-trimmed edges framed an almost foreign contemplation, the fatigue carved into the

Broken Illusions

Broken Illusions

To Lena, however, it was a gilded cage—a prison of her own making. Lena Mitchell stood in the center of the master bedroom, her heart heavy with the weight of the revelations she had uncovered. The room, once a symbol of her marital bliss, now felt cold and unwelcoming. The lavish furnishings and opulent décor seemed to mock her, a constant reminder of the lies and deceit that had tainted her life.

Oops! The CEO's Ex is a Secret Genius

Oops! The CEO's Ex is a Secret Genius

Beneath the red cloth stood a golden cage—a stunning, ostentatious prison. Its bars were as thick as thumbs, each adorned with flawless diamonds and creamy white pearls. Pure gold glinted under the morning light, blindingly bright. Opulent. Extravagant. Terrifying. Diego watched her reaction, voice light and slow. “Isn’t it beautiful, Briella? I had dozens of craftsmen work day and night to create it.” He dragged each word like honey laced with poison. “Every diamond, every pearl—I picked them myself. Priceless, all of them. Don’t you want to step inside… just for a feel?”

Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

All my best ideas get caught up in the mediocre ones, so I find myself leaping from plan to plan. I promise I’ll try to keep to the point. Don’t make me turn the charm on you too. I've got sex appeal and I'm not afraid to use it. As long as you’re not a shifter too? Anyway, the casino, now that was one of my very best ideas. The Gilded Falcon. My pride and joy. Rich red carpets, a dozen red felt topped playing tables with rich mahogany everywhere else. I went against gold. Too much gold always looks tacky, too little looks like you can’t afford it, so none.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

I have read this twice now and absolutely love it! Rocco's character is nothing short of spectacular. I just adore him. I am also slightly obsessessed with the way the characters talk to the reader in this book! Highly recommend this book, as well as all of Alle's books!

THE RUIN OF CASSY BEAUMONT: BOUGHT AND BROKEN

THE RUIN OF CASSY BEAUMONT: BOUGHT AND BROKEN

CASSY The Gilded Cage doesn't look like a place where desperate girls sell their souls. It looks like a five-star hotel. All marble and gold, ambient lighting that probably costs more per fixture than my current monthly rent, doormen in actual uniforms who open the doors with white-gloved hands and don't meet your eyes. The kind of place I used to walk into without a second thought, back when I had a trust fund and a last name that meant something. Now I'm here to auction off the only thing I have left.

The Debt of the Widow

The Debt of the Widow

"Get the hell in there. Now." Dante shoved the heavy steel door. It didn't glide; it ground against the floor with the sound of a mountain moving. The air inside the bunker hit like a slap—sterile, recirculated, and smelling of ozone. This was the Gilded Cage, the dead center of the Vane Estate. Lead-lined walls. Air-gapped servers. Six inches of reinforced titanium separating the interior from the firestorm Arthur was currently raining down on the library above.

His Savior Was Never My Sister

His Savior Was Never My Sister

The warehouse on Pier 17 smelled of salt, rust, and expensive perfume—a fitting cocktail for the business at hand. They called it ‘the Gilded Cage’, a traveling, clandestine auction house for things that couldn’t see daylight: blood diamonds, stolen art, encrypted ledgers containing rivals’ secrets. The air was cold enough to see your breath, yet the women glittered in gowns worth more than the cars idling outside. I stood near a corroded steel pillar, a glass of champagne I wouldn’t drink held like a prop in my hand, watching the spectacle.

My Ex-Boyfriend is my New Step-Brother

My Ex-Boyfriend is my New Step-Brother

The wardrobe suite in the main building was a mausoleum of silk and tulle. Rolling racks of costumes for The Gilded Cage lined the walls, shrouded in protective plastic that crinkled like dry skin every time the air conditioning kicked on. The lighting was surgical—harsh, overhead LEDs that made every stitch on the garments look like a wire.
