Fate Bound: To Summon a God

Fate Bound: To Summon a God

My mind kept drifting back to the scroll hidden in the basement, to the runes I had drawn on the floor. I had found the scroll hidden among my grandmother's things after she died. It was ancient, written in a language that had taken me weeks to decipher. It spoke of the Fates—Abraxas, the Fate of Life; Kaius, the Fate of Death; and Ryuu, the Fate of Destiny. The Fates ruled the universe, deciding the course of every life, every death, every destiny. The scroll claimed that one could summon a Fate and ask for a boon. But it came with a warning: to call on a Fate was to risk death. I didn't care about the risk. If I didn't do something, I would be exposed as a Shade during my first shift, and

Beyond Fate

Beyond Fate

And when His anger turned toward the Fates, ready to end them— —the Son intervened. He removed them from Earth before judgment fell. Banished them to serve. To forever walk alongside humans in death, guiding them to their final rest. It was both punishment and mercy. A reminder of what they had done… and who they served. The Almighty was pleased. And never spoke of them again. Now, the First Spear—Destiny—lay in a wearied, barely-formed state, thinking… what can I do? What can I leave behind before I fade again?

Rejecting Fate

Rejecting Fate

With Nathan gone, that dream may have slipped away. Amy told me and Daya that the four of us- me, Daya, Pearl, and Saph- will have fated mates. I hope she is right about that. She won’t show us the letters she found from Father, fearful we may try to take fate into our own hands and interfere. I’ll continue trusting that the Moon Goddess will help Saph find her happiness. I’ve been watching her slip away, and she is less and less like herself each time we see each other. I also hope Amy is wrong, and that she has a mate out there too.

Sold to fate

Leah was all he could think of. "Don't worry, I won't hurt your precious cargo, you already have a lot on your hands" She points downward to Moreno as the hologram was placed over his head. "A rat will always be a rat, right DiCarlo?" She winked. "Now, I can unlock the flash for you but here's the 'catch' you must play a game with me. Don't worry it's a game you're already used to. There are four horsemen in the game of cards and four thieves in my possession. You already have one fitted before you, and I know you to be a person of no Mercy. Moreno may have gotten you the information you needed but he played right into my hands. Now, a shipment is moving from Denzel to Chicago in two days. T

FATE'S REJECTION

FATE'S REJECTION

Anna suggested but Georgia shook her head. “You know I can never go back there. That place holds painful memories.." she uttered. Her family left her that night to her own Faye, she almost died. She wandered for days, even hungry without shelter. If not for Anna. She would have committed suicide. But thank goodness she didn't do that. She was blessed with the best gifts ever. "I know how hard it was for you," Anna said gently. "And I know how much you suffered. But I also know how strong you are, and how you were able to pick yourself up and move on. You're an amazing woman, Georgia, and I'm so proud of you."

An Unwanted Fate

An Unwanted Fate

He seemed to weigh his words carefully before responding to me. “I can see how that would be a confusing situation for everyone and I completely understand your concern. I have no advice to give other than to say that in my experience, though undeniably limited when it comes to fated mates, the Moon Goddess usually has a reason for everything that happens and many times it is beyond our understanding.” He seemed lost in thought and it made me wonder what experiences he’d had that brought him to that conclusion. Though his words definitely struck a chord with me. “I have to agree with you. I certainly can’t begin to fathom her reasons most of the time.” Melancholy was slipping into my voice a

love the fact the author helps the readers feel all those emotions we feel in relationships from the happiest to the most self loathing, but gives you that hope that of course love will conquer, even when we don't feel we deserve it!

the story is so human. focusing on emotions. the people are highly emotional beings especially Kat and Reegan and so they make so many mistakes that seems idiotic. though the dealing with emotions could be better. This story is captivating and steamy and I just couldn't put it down

THE NIGHT ROAMER : Dah'ila Reborn

THE NIGHT ROAMER : Dah'ila Reborn

"What if I change your fate? You know it's not too difficult for me, I'm the fates queen" "As a child, I was born with the fate of steel and bloodbath. Meaning I was destined to be a fine general. After Dah'ila died, it was revealed that I had a double fate. And the other was of strife and discord, of which I can only embrace one. No being, mortal or immortal would not want to change that" The queen laughed as she sat on her chamber's throne separated by a veil from Zaiya. "Let me tell you a story of wisdom and folly" She spoke in an unclear way that Zaiya could not understand.

Fate Of Revenge

Fate Of Revenge

She mumbled to herself as she got up from her place with a sarcastic smile on her face and threw the letter on the table. "If there truly is another door that would open up for me, shall I consider this letter as that door?" She mumbled to herself and wiped the tears off her cheeks. "In these ten days, I have seen the worst days, the lowest point of my life. I lost my job and my father is on the brink of death," She shrug her shoulder as she looked down on the crumpled up letter she threw - "But if all this had the slightest hope to change then I will be stubborn enough to grab it." She gathered all her courage and decided to pay a visit to the person who was so glad as to invite her.

Blessed By the Moon Goddess

Blessed By the Moon Goddess

“Until the next full moon.” As soon as Ashur hung up the phone, he turned around to find Felan standing there. “No, it won’t work.” Felan tells him. “The Moon Goddess has been in contact with me. She told me that I will die if I run from Shaba. She said she can see Keyne, Nezerra and I get to a safe place, but that is it. She can’t see beyond that.” “That doesn’t mean you will die, Felan.” Ashur tries to reassure her. “Ashur, she said she couldn’t see MY future beyond that point. The only place I am going is home.”
