One clear morning, Marina was swimming in the outskirts of her community when a shoal of fish quickly swam towards her. The siren stopped her swimming and allowed the fish to get closer to her; she was worried that something bad was happening if the fishes were swimming so fast. “What is going on little friends?” Marina asked the fish. Although they could not speak in the same way they did, sirens could communicate with all the animals in the ocean, and thanks to this Marina was capable to understand the fish when they told her somebody was pushing their friends out to the surface.

Just as Marlon had promised Emil, his curiosity pushed him to investigate the strange scales he had found in Don Martin’s swimming pool. The sight of them had lingered in his mind, their vibrant, metallic colors sparking a question he couldn’t shake. What were they? And where had they come from? He couldn’t ignore the possibility that the pool, which was being filled with seawater, had something to do with it. Don Martin’s unusual request for seawater seemed out of place to Marlon, especially when considering that he had never seen anyone else in the town take such measures. There was a strange feeling that something was being hidden, something beyond their understanding.

Now she needs to find out what and where before she can figure out how to get rid of it. Marlin tried to trace for the source of the faint presence, but she couldn’t trace it far enough.
