Unfresh all over for me. “Girl, breathe,” Alli whispered, noticing me freeze. “You are staring like you have seen a ghost.” “I cannot help it,” I whispered back. “Look at him. That skin… those eyes. He is even more handsome in person.” I stared. I stared until one of his guys tapped him and whispered that I was staring. I just knew they were talking about me because after their giggles and whispers, I noticed he used his eyes to search for me as his friend secretly pointed.

I am busy embracing the calmness of the sea when my oh so called bestfriend appeared and start pestering me. Cloud never leave my side since earlier and I notice that he didn't come with his friend, so I push him to go with them and he obliged. "How are you, Riks?" I asked the person beside me and when she didn't answer, I remove my sunglasses and turn to her only to find her drooling at her boyfriend. I chuckled and push her shoulder lightly. "Staring is rude, friend." I laughed. "Duh? You keep on staringat Cloud earlier but I didn't scold you." She replied.

One thing that didn't change was her glare; it was definitely a weird way to show her attraction towards me. I chuckled, it was silly, standing in the freezing cold and staring at me to get my attention, it did work, only that I believed she should see a psychiatrist instead of having a boyfriend . Evelyn POV The room became silent and everyone stared in shock. The look on their faces was so obvious as it changed from shock and confusion and then to curiosity. Their eyes moved between us while trying to fathom what was to happen. The girl who approached had an apparent facial expression. Her brows were raised and her eyes widened in disbelief. The strands of her brown hair fell over her face as she shook her head in refusal. “How can you have a girlfriend? Don’t you care about me?” I could hear the hurt in her tone and the anger in her eyes as she asked.

"We haven’t finalized it yet," I replied, my eyes fixed on the screen.

I deserve such mockery. As I made my way into the room, I noticed that Maryanne was drinking wine with her friend, Tabitha. Tabitha was a striking woman with long, curly hair and piercing green eyes. She was staring at me with an intensity that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I'm used to stares from both genders. After all, I am a work of art.
