The Love I Couldn't See

The Love I Couldn't See

I looked again at the card, ninth floor, office number 535. I was ready to rock on and maybe give this thing a chance. But all my expectations turned into nothing at the moment someone bumped straight into me, making me lose my balance. I fell miserably on the floor dropping my glasses. My vision became blurry. It was impossible to see. I have myopia. Without my glasses I'm nothing more than useless... “Watch out women.” A deep man's voice reached my ears. “Sir, please, my glasses.” No response. What on earth! “Sir, I can't see!” Again, nothing. The only thing I could see was his blurry figure vanishing as he went far away.

The Glass Rose

The Glass Rose

one of the men said as he started walking toward me with a smug look on his face. "I'm not going anywhere with you, and you're going to regret coming into this shop tonight because I have a brother who is dying and I don't have time to play games with my father’s old lapdogs," I replied as I reached behind me and grabbed a heavy glass jar of antiseptic from the counter. I threw the jar at his head and he ducked just enough for it to miss, but it gave me the second I needed to lung forward and drive a jagged shard of glass from the broken window into the soft spot under his chin.

The Heiress in Glass

The Heiress in Glass

He hadn’t told her he was coming. He didn’t know if he should. But when he saw her silhouette appear behind the glass, his chest tightened. She looked smaller than before. And stronger. Vivienne noticed him a moment later. Their eyes met through the glass. She pressed her hand against the window. So did he. Separated by inches of reinforced steel and years of manipulation, they stood there, breathing the same city air, sharing the same silence. Her phone buzzed. Vivienne: You shouldn’t be here.

THE SINFUL HOUR COLLECTION

THE SINFUL HOUR COLLECTION

“She might not have the body that you do, but she’s not a slut. She still has track of her body count, unlike you.” “Please leave.” “What the fuck!” I snapped. “You know what? If you don’t want me, I’d get her to leave you,” I sneered. “Look there.” I glanced towards the door. “You see it, huh?” I said, letting a sly grin spread across my face. “Yes, I got all this on recording, and these glasses aren’t ordinary,” I whispered, removing the glasses. “See, it has a camera. It’s a meta glass, sweetheart .”

CASSIE

" Cassie said. "Nathan you best not be letting this gem get away from you, she has a heart of gold," Captain Harold said to Nathan. "Don't I know it." Nathan replied. They went up on deck with the girls for a bit then Cassie and the girls went down to bed. Nathan went down and gave Cassie her refreshment. Then took three up to the deck for him and the guys after kissing her good night. Nathan, Norman and Jacob drank their refreshments then they threw all four glasses into to ocean. The glasses were contaminated with blood and not suitable for humans to use after. This is why he paid the cook a good sum of money at the beginning of their voyage so they could replace the glasses.

Excuse Me, I Quit!

Excuse Me, I Quit!

Annie's P.O.V. Ever since I was a little girl, I had been bullied because of my glasses. Kids made fun of me all throughout elementary and middle school. Called me names like a nerd, four-eye, dork, and many more. I mean...hello! It's not like I choose to wear glasses this thick! I admit I don't exactly look attractive with these covering half of my face but without them, I can't see a thing. My whole world is blurry. Stupid rare eye condition. Why couldn't I be born normal like everyone else?

I don’t usually write reviews but this one merited one. This is by far one of the best books I’ve read so far! Although there are some grammatical errors and the story could flow a bit better, the synopsis and the characters were well written. I would totally recommend this book. So worth it!

It took me a bit to get into it, but I’m glad I stuck it out. Evan is funny. Him n Mike had me rolling over there who gets her the whole way… leaving ppl guessing who she chooses. There are real issues of physical abuse in here, but the book definitely shows resolution to it. I like this Author.

Stories at the Crossroad. (completed)

He let out the friendliest of smiles, making Anderson very uncomfortable. Anderson stared back and forth between Suit and the scroll. His mind was racing. The contract sounded simple enough. Straightforward, but he did not understand. ‘What did he mean by survive the stories? Did he not say I was going to tell a story? What does survive the story mean?’ Question after question popped up into his head. He could not help himself. He had no idea exactly what it meant, but one thing was for certain; He would not move forward if he did nothing but constantly question the situation

A Kissing Spell

A Kissing Spell

he agreed without hesitation and moved back as far as I wanted him to. He stared at me intensively, making me flustered. I had to take a couple of deep breaths to regain composure and concentrate on casting a spell. I placed my hands above the pile of crystal pieces and closed my eyes. When I opened them, the glasses slowly started rebuilding themselves, piece by piece, like they were three-dimensional puzzles. With a final piece attached, the shattered glass merged together, looking like it had never been broken. I smirked and lifted one glass, then looked at Samil confidently. He was smiling. I had never seen him genuinely smiling like that. Yet, there was something sorrowful about that sm

The Stories Of Those Around Us

The Stories Of Those Around Us

He smiled stupidly at me as he held onto his stomach in pain. "Who did this to you?" I asked as I walked up to him. "Tell me who did this to you!" "I just tripped." He replied. "I'm not an idiot, Ivory!" "Nothing will happen even if I tell you!" He suddenly exclaimed as he wiped his eyes, and right after he did, the bangs that were covering his eyes were swept to the side, revealing his sharp yellow eyes that were filled with tears. "It's nothing, so please don't do anything. Please just forget about it."

Our story

My heart is beating very wildly as he is sitting very close to me now. "You go first!" I whispered. "Okay." "I sing so well. I play the guitar. I have never been in love." "Which one is the lie?" "you play the guitar." "Aww. You are wrong." "Ohh. So which one is the lie?" "I have never been in love." He said. "I have actually been in love. It ended in tears sha. Hot, premium tears." He added. I couldn't help but laugh. "Do you mind talking about it? I'm sorry for laughing though."
