Revenge of The Shadow Heir

Revenge of The Shadow Heir

The glow was far too strong and far too captivating that I almost lost myself and touched the glass that was covering it! I wondered what would happen if I touch the glass with my bare hands… How did those vampires touch these things without activating its magical protection spell? Did Sir Casior tell me a lie earlier when he said these glasses are protected by magic? Maybe it really was a lie… The glasses here were unscathed after all… There was only one way to find out… I had to touch it… As soon as my fingers got in contact with the glass, something unbelievable happened!

The Proposal (Book 3 of The Arrangement series)

Leo loved those glasses and hardly ever left home without them. “Do you think you can explain this at a hospital Mr. Godwin? Are you ready for those types of questions? The man I am taking your friend to see was a doctor. Well trained and very capable,” said Giovanni. “Was? What the fuck do you mean was?” demanded Grayson, “I don’t want any back alley butcher fucking touching him!” “Where are his glasses? Leo always has his shades,” said Amber. “What? Amber what are you talking about?” asked Grayson, “are you feeling alright?”

Falling for Sakura

Falling for Sakura

He supposed it had worked because she’d stopped shaking. Conrad ignored his brother and said, “I didn’t know they had glasses during the medieval period.” “It’s fantasy, Conrad,” Darcy explained. “Fantasy worlds can have glasses,” Hayden said, as he took the seat in front of Sakura. “I didn’t know that,” Sebastian said, taking the seat next to Hayden, which was facing Darcy. A second later, Tristan and Logan joined them, taking seats in the next row. “Sakura, darling,” Tristan began, “do you like men in glasses?”

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted

It went from surprise to astonishment, to disbelief, and finally speechlessness. In the end, Aldor told her that the glasses were made by a prestigious wine glass and decanter manufacturer in Dereland. The wine decanted by the wine glasses would taste extremely mellow. The foot of the glasses was even embedded with jewels. A single wine glass was priced near a million. As they entered, Felicity spotted Corbin immediately. Like a cat approaching its prey, Felicity darted over to him so quickly that Stella failed to stop her. "Keegan, Stella."

I am on chapter 1700 and trust me this has to be the only book here that I have not lost interest in,i.e, the chapters have not dragged on and you literally are on the edge of your seat throughout the book. Enjoyed the whole book except the last few chapters.Hope the story doesn't become cliched now
Aileen AC
What makes this story good are the characters, mainly the lead characters. Unlike other stories where the leads are usually portrayed as someone omnipotent with multiple hidden excellent identities, both Stella and Keegan have their own flaws and weaknesses, which made their characters more charming

The Billionaire who doesn't love me

The Billionaire who doesn't love me

I wanted to breathe, to look away, but I stood rooted to a place, unable to look away from his blue eyes that threatened to melt my heart. A mist of happy tears glazed my sight, and my throat burned as I tried to keep them at bay. I shouldn't let him see me cry, but I can't look away. And as if the universe wanted to save me from utmost embarrassment, the store clerk came to the rescue. “Which one would you like, ma'am? She called out to me, and I was able to break my gaze from Nathan. I walk slowly to the showglass and peep through the collections of jewellery. I have a glass like this in my closet that holds countless expensive jewellery and gems, some of which I have never worn before.

His Plaything

His Plaything

"Like... the second you shut your eyes, something might be right there behind you? I swear I can't even rinse my damn hair without thinking someone's about to burst in through the door or window. It's ridiculous, right?" He gave a quick laugh, not waiting for my answer. "There's a funny story behind it, so now I just keep my eyes open. It stings like hell when the shampoo gets into my eyes, so I bought some goggles to help with that." He hummed again, off-key, before adding, almost cheerfully, "I'm bored, so I'll tell you the story. I had this guy once—Frankie. Big guy, shoulders like a fridge. Thought he was smarter than me."

Her Craving, His Brother

Her Craving, His Brother

The tattoos along his back and arms shift slightly with every movement, like they’re alive, like they follow him instead of sitting on him. And then, glasses. I blink. “…You wear glasses?” He glances over his shoulder, like it’s the most normal thing in the world. “Sometimes.” I step in a little more, curiosity getting the better of me. “For what?” “Mild astigmatism,” he says, turning back to the stove. “Long hours, screens… makes it worse.” I nod slowly, even though he can’t see me. It’s such a small detail, but it makes him feel human.

"I'm not dropping this whole scenario about being the best you've ever had, so you may as well tell me the story... besides, by your body language, I'm assuming I'm not going to get many more dates." I snorted. "That's highly doubtful." "Take off your glasses." "Huh?" He reached for my glasses and slid them off, setting them on the table with more care than I thought him capable of. "There, that's better. I want to see your eyes." "But I can't even focus on you!" "Your eyes are huge." Shame washed over me as I reached for my glasses but his hand covered mine, holding it against the table. "It was a compliment."

My Hockey Bully Stepbrother

My Hockey Bully Stepbrother

"You know what, Summer? I'm a good person. I think I should help you up." He extends his hand. I stare at it like it's a snake. Every instinct screams not to touch him, not to give him anything he can use against me. I push myself up on shaking arms, ignoring the sting in my scraped palms. My glasses. Where are they… I spot them a few feet away. The frame is cracked, one lens completely shattered. Those were new. I saved for two months to buy them because my mom couldn't afford another pair and I needed them to see the board in class.
