The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

After much deliberation, Flame Pyroar revealed the truth. "I am not entirely unrelated to them. The Nine Golden Birds guard the Sunset Bow. Every few years, the Sunset Bow will erupt with a terrifying Blazing Sun Heavenly Flame. It is purer and more powerful than Lava Fire. It will help me to level up my Flame Power. "So whenever the Sunset Bow released the Blazing Sun Heavenly Flame, I would take advantage of it... Of course, I did it quietly and did not want those Golden Birds to notice. Otherwise, I would be dead by now..."

SILVER PACT

SILVER PACT

But in Riverglass, a traveller swore she heard Kaima humming by the river. And in Gloam, a new kind of bloom grew one that never bloomed the same way twice, and responded only to nonverbal kindness. It was called Kaima’s Breath. No one harvested it. No one studied it. They just left it alone. And that, more than anything, felt like her. Siran returned to Lisra’s Reach with a group of young spellformers, root-scribes, and memory singers. They did not call themselves leaders. They called themselves beginning-notes.

The Bane And The Alpha Beast

The Bane And The Alpha Beast

I slowed just enough to listen, drawing closer in a crouch, careful not to break a twig or send the scent of my presence too far ahead. “She’s not here,” Grimm’s voice rumbled. “But this… this feels wrong. The air’s heavier.” “Did you find it?” That was Grimm again, questioning, impatient. “I don’t know,” Brad said. “Crawl swears he sees something, but I don’t—” “I know what I saw,” Crawl snapped. “It’s right there. In the clearing. The shimmer—look just past the tall stones—” I stepped out of the trees.

The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

Boulder crouched low, his tawny fur bristling, the moonlight reflecting in his amber eyes, the grounds a sanctuary, the thrill a shared instinct. Lila climbed a nearby oak, her movements swift and silent, her hazel eyes scanning the forest below, her voice a soft whisper carried on the breeze, the moonlight illuminating her face, the thrill of the hunt a mirror to the focus in her veins, the air thick with their shared legacy, the grounds a sanctuary, their bond a radiant flame. “Three bucks, heading toward the stream,” she called down, her bow ready, the moonlight dancing on her face, the grounds a haven, the thrill a shared joy. Spark circled below, her golden fur shimmering, the moonlight

The Alpha's Fated Desire

The Alpha's Fated Desire

{Dominic} The silence held for almost three full seconds, then the Grimhold’s council of Elders dropped to their knees one after the other, and bowed their heads so low, their foreheads nearly touched the soil. Grimhold was still on one knee, his wolfish grin a bit too pleased for a man who’d just been choked unconscious, and the Gazel’s sparkling particles still lingered in the air like tiny bits of confetti. I stepped toward Grimhold and gave a respectful nod before lowering myself slightly. “I gladly accept your alliance. May our packs walk side by side from this day on.”

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

Stone pillars towered along the sides of the room, with large windows filtering the golden light from long candles. Alpha Aeran and Luna Meyra of Glimmerhowl sat side by side with serious expressions. Alpha Deylan and Luna Carine of Ashveil appeared to be whispering to each other, while Alpha Garren of Blazeborn stood tall like a granite statue, with Luna Elire looking far more composed yet vigilant.

Lilly Riverwood and the Moon Rose Ritual

Lilly Riverwood and the Moon Rose Ritual

Emerald stated. The three exchanged startled glances, the phantom sensation pulsing with shared alarm. None of them had noticed any glow, too absorbed in the music and their bond to perceive the visual manifestation Emerald described. "What kind of glow?" Kenny asked, his voice dropping to a whisper despite the privacy of the music room. "Silver-gold, like the Moon Rose," Emerald replied, her eyes wide with significance. "It surrounded all three of you, not individually, but as a unit, like a single aura connecting you together. It was... beautiful. And unmistakably divine."

A Vow of Stone and Starlight

A Vow of Stone and Starlight

It was a mix of my starlight and Alaric's dark power. The crack didn't grow. The glass held. I was halfway across. I could see Alaric’s eyes. They weren't cold anymore. They were wide, watching me with something that looked like hope. But then, Morgana moved. She pulled a small silver whistle from her belt and blew a silent note. Suddenly, the soul link in my head snapped. The connection to Alaric was gone. The golden light under my feet vanished. Crrr-ack! The glass floor beneath me shattered into a thousand pieces. I screamed as I felt the air rush past my ears. I was falling. The obsidian spears were rushing up to meet me.

A Love Worth Fighting For

A Love Worth Fighting For

Their shared triumph had deepened their connection, strengthening the already unbreakable bond between them. The Night Howlers, their ethereal forms shimmering in the moonlight, moved gracefully amidst the revelry, their golden eyes reflecting the festivities. They seemed to share in the jubilant energy, their soft purrs and gentle nuzzles adding to the overall sense of unity and celebration. Lyra, kneeling, offered a tender caress to each of them, whispering words of gratitude, her connection to these mystical beings palpable to all who witnessed it.

Bowing to Silverclaw

Bowing to Silverclaw

I repeated all of the same steps with the other 10, after the bonding was finished, their mind links melded together more intimately with Silverclaw’s. “Silverclaw thanks you for your tribute and devotion to our family, to our pack.” Angel spoke as she gave them each a silver chain to wear, bearing the Silverclaw crest. It was a half moon with two midnight blue stars on each end and a golden ‘s’ in the center. With them officially taking their position, howls of joy echoed from Newblood as they rejoiced in the making of the Barriers. We had a feast in honor of the 11 Barriers along with music, drinking, and dancing.
