| Hollis | As the two friends (who were quickly becoming lovers) continued to stare into one another’s soul, Hollis bit her lip with a barely audible sigh. She could easily count almost every gold speck glimmering in Whitney’s cinnamon colored eyes. She would’ve mistaken them for hazel, if it weren’t for their usual pure honey shade. Hollis threaded her finger’s through the brunette’s silky curly black hair, feeling a mixture of euphoria and terror surge through her veins. She’d just admitted everything aloud, and had no idea how the other girl felt about it. The suspense was maddening.

What? who the fuck is a glitch? Me. Like hell, I'm no glitch.

Wilbur let out a long breath. That was his first time carving a formation onto an object. It was a light-based defense formation called the Glow Shield and was considered to be a pretty easy formation. The Glow Shield could deflect most mortal attacks once. That included strong collisions and bullets. However, it would only work once and lose its effects after that. That was probably enough for Faye and might even save her life one day. Wilbur nodded with satisfaction. He put the jade away and headed out to a jeweler in the city.

Its leave-less branches is bent in a way that provides some kind of shade on a big hole in the ground. I squint my eyes to help clear my vision and move slowly towards the hole and that's when I see it too. ********************************

She also noticed that two of the sources glowed with colors she did not call for. There was a silver glow and a gold glow. The silver glow went to the center of the meadow and toward the direction of the cave along with a bright blue one. The gold glow went just to the center of the meadow. The three remnants were heavy and thick. The fourth remnants glowed red, and this is the one Makenzy had been looking for. It felt the strongest and that told Makenzy it was the most recently used.
