Tears welled in Gloria's eyes as she pleaded, "Let's go downstairs and pick out a few more pieces there." As Alpha's daughter of the Ironclaw Pack, her pride burned, but she couldn't muster the courage to speak against Rosemary. Her wolf claws dug into her palms, desperate for them to leave. Jewelry on the first floor wasn't cheap either. The Golden Jewelry Store didn't have any low-quality items. Sabrina clutched the jewelry box tightly, her silver-gray wolf ears bristling with defiance. "No, I want this set," she said, her sulfuric pheromones flaring like sparks.

“But I hear she is wolfless. How then can your wolf be drawn to hers?” I met his gaze steadily, refusing to waver. “I’m led to believe her situation is temporary,” I replied. “She is a Golden Luna, after all. The lateness of her wolf—it’s merely an eccentricity. One I hope to rectify and utilize for our benefit. The two gray wolves let go of their dying targets and lunged across the dark room simultaneously, their jaws wide, their silver collars gleaming in the moonlight. I didn't try to fight the suppression. I let the raw, biting fury of the pain fuel the transformation. The silver light erupted from my skin in a violent explosion that shattered the remaining ceiling tiles, the force of the shift blowing the thick gray smoke out into the rain. The silver wolf rose to her full, magnificent height, a beast of pure muscle and golden light, her jaws snapping closed on the first attacker's neck before his paws could even touch the carpet.

The crowd roared Garron’s name, urging him to finish it. But Lyra rose. Her silver fur glowed brighter under the moonlight, her aura expanding, pressing against every wolf present like a crushing weight. She growled low, the sound reverberating through the ground, not just a warning but a command. Some of the younger wolves faltered, their ears flattening, their eyes dipping.

I shouted, losing control, "Don't touch me." I stared into his eyes, speaking slowly and clearly, "You have another she-wolf's pheromones on you. My wolf can't stand it." The air felt sliced by a thin blade. His face hardened. His Alpha aura dropped low, but it still crushed every sound in the room. "Trista, I'm not as dirty as you think." He held me tight, trying to force me into his embrace. I couldn't break free. My chest fought for shallow breaths. "I am a descendant of the Ice Wolf. The Silverlight vow is clear: we despise disloyalty. Don't try to calm me with your scent mixed with hers. It will make me vomit."

Allison's POV "How are they?" Walking into the room, I asked Tiana. "They were tranquilized to sleep. Two of them..." She shook her head dejectedly. Sighing I nodded. All my years as Luna, this is the most difficult part of the job. Having to console a wolf who lost their partner. It is a feeling that I hope to never experience. Some weres are never able to heal from such and they end up being aggressive. "Where are they?" I asked referring to the weres that have shown aggressive tendencies.

“Help.” “You need to shut down your link to your glow,” he barks. “Dim your glow, and you should be able to remove your hand.” “Goddess, this hurts,” I hiss as I struggle to bring my glow down, taking deep breaths. I’m an alpha wolf, goddessdamn it, I wasn’t designed to deal with this. “You’re also a witch, Sly,” Rufus reminds me. “You need to learn more about this, too.” But not now, damn it, not when so much is at stake.

Elder Zimmer continues “ When the child is born she will glow. She will be stronger, faster than any human or wolf. She can see and hear better as well.” “ It is said that she will gain the rest of her powers after she gains her wolf. After her twentieth birthday.” Elder Trenton said. “ And if it is me how do I get my wolf?” Lexi asked. I’m wondering the same thing. Most get theirs when they are around fifteen.
