Visibly shaken, Briar cried hoarsely, “Gluttony!” “Yes, it’s Gluttony!” “I can’t believe Gluttony himself is here. It’s truly unbelievable!” The others were also shocked. Gluttony was one of the Four Calamities alongside Chaos, Depravity, and Ignorance, and it already possessed extraordinary talents in its youth. Among the Four Calamities, Gluttony stood out for its greed and desire. According to legend, once Gluttony matured, its unparalleled ferocity could devour the earth. It would possess unfathomable ability and could create or destroy worlds.

Definitely, it would not be easy to hear a story such as this. “Sigh, so even in another world, the selfishness and greed of humans remains the same,” Kylie sighed and rubbed her forehead with her lovely fingers. Delores smiled at the words of the younger girl. It seemed that Kylie had accepted the story much better than she thought. *Of course. Your kind have a deep-seated greed in them. They aren’t born with it, but by the time they hit puberty, many of them are unable to live without it. Greed is mankind’s aphrodisiac. That is your people’s curse. Which means, it is yours as well. I am looking forward to see how you’d deal with it*

the gray reprimanded him excessively severely, “the farmer - we - wanted to share, but the neighbor was too greedy. He wanted everything, and of course the farmer cannot give that to him because he has to survive himself. Do you actually know what greed is and what it can make of friends? ” “ But are all other peoples except us greedy? ” “ Raen, answer my question: do you know what greed is? ”Insisted the old teacher. "But ..." "There is no but here in class, you should have learned that slowly!" Warned the gray man in a slightly raised voice.

index finger. He could sense that these coins were worth a lot to Amon. It was not about the material value, Louis also suspected it. Amon put both hands around Louis. "Humility, charity, chastity, patience, moderation, benevolence and diligence." Amon listed and Louis knew what he meant by that. It was the seven virtues of heaven. Godric knew this too, since these virtues were officially written down. “Are these coins supposed to represent this? Then you didn't really do that. ", Said Louis, Godric also had to nod this one time. Amon really wasn't an example of heavenly virtues. This laughed caught out. "I know. But look. ”With these words Amon turned all the coins over. Godric wondered wh

"No, no, go on, I'm listening." "Tony, right?" I wanted to corroborate. He nodded. "Look, Tony. The Anger can be found in the impatience that is experienced daily in the streets, especially at midday, when the sun is so inclement that it becomes the benefactor of murders." He laughed. "Laziness. You find it in any of the citizens who are born and die with their backs to the lake." He nodded, seeming to agree with me. "Greed is very common and I think if it is eradicated here, not many will miss it. You find it within that sector of the population that looks at us constantly and wants more of us, they suck our blood like vampires only enriching themselves nothing more." He made a strange grim

he added in a very long litany. Everything was clear now. So greed was the caused of all these tragic events happened to us--the selfish desire to have more of something. The one that gods worshipped as ‘The Only One’ was the root of all evil. If he’s that immensely powerful, then why it was necessary for him to take the soul of children just to increase his power even more? That was way too greedy. Mammon was right. Greed is the mother of all evil.

Gluttony. Sloth. The seven deadly sins. The commoners don’t see this every day because they don’t have a chance to show it. I’ve lived with them my whole life. The nobles in Westineof let them loose and follow every command that they give. They wanted money, they had it, they wanted more, they craved it, then they stole it indirectly. They wanted women; they raped children; they bought slaves like toys and wanted more. They wanted to be the best, so they ruined the others; they wanted what the others have, they believed that the world is a slave to their desires. They got angry when you pointed out their faults and held pride in what they were doing. They didn’t accept it when someone said d

A bitter, cynical laugh threatened to bubble up. ‘Actually,’ I said, the words coming out sharper than I intended, ‘I would argue that at their core, it’s fundamentally the same. The philanderer uses his money to buy flesh for his sexual gratification. The philanthropist uses it to buy social esteem for his ego gratification. Ultimately, it’s all self-serving.’

They tell that man and desire are one unity because in fact that desire is always in man. It could be wealth, power, respect from others, office, anything. That desire depends so much on the person, but no matter how much they have, they will never be satisfied because people are greedy. But you always say that in this life I must not be greedy, to be grateful for what I have because greed is sin. I try, I try not to be greedy. But recently, I’ve become more greedy, indeed though I know I shouldn’t be.

I was confused and needed him to say more so I could understand better: “If Mr. Thatcher sleeps one and wakes up the next, completely broke, would you leave him? You are bearing the cause of being disrespected by him just so you won’t lose everything." “Are you saying that I am with my husband because of money?” I frowned. “I should tell you that I do come from a wealthy home; I do have it all." Seth sniggered, confusing me even more: “Not everything revolves around money, but still, coming from a wealthy home doesn’t guarantee that you are wealthy; likewise, being married to one again, you absolutely have nothing for yourself, just other wealth to claim.” He stepped closer to me, ending the
