This place was truly different from our world, and everything about it screamed creepy. "So this is the inbetween." I murmured, continuing to examine the area. Just up ahead of us was a cobble street with wooden signs pointing the way to High Street where the main part of town for this place was located. It wasn't our destination, but it would lead to where we needed to go. To find the black market, we needed to find the Goblinaspur pub first, and then, only after giving the proper password would we be granted access. It was a bit of a trek since the pub was on the outskirts of town, so we really needed to get going.

I moved the glass closer and then away until I found the right distance to see the dot. “Looks like a compass rose,” I muttered, frowning. I was looking up at him when I caught a glimpse of another funny dot on that map. “Here’s another one,” I said, placing the glass above it. “Where’s that?” I tilted my head to both sides, still frowning. “I think that’s where the guesthouse is now.” “Look! Another one!” he whispered, moving the glass toward the Quabbin. “But that’s in the middle of the woods.”

Daniel squinted his eyes then carefully slid his head to the left until his vision cleared the tree, and he could see the squadron of goblins and trolls camped out in a clearing. Ever since they attacked Rosemary in the meadow, Daniel had grown very fond of exterminating goblins and was always glad to rid the North of the slimy, stinking vermin.

I finish my current opponent, an Earth Golem, as I thrust my claws onto his chest and jump to his head to kicked his charcoal orbs making it lose its balance and collapse on the hard ground making it shook for a moment. I smile in victory but my victorious smile suddenly fades as I saw the battalion of ghouls together with the goblins approaching my direction. I don't know if I could fight these number of foes for we've been fighting all along. My stamina is getting drained, and I don't have an element to use.

How do we get to that abandoned mine?” “Well, if you look at this map, it looks like there’s an abandoned mine at the base of this mountain here,” he explained, pointing to an area he had enlarged. “It’s part of the Goldfield Mountains, right next to the Superstitions. From the looks of it, I figure that’s exactly where the entrance is. But Hannah, you mentioned something about a cave-in?”
