Claimed By My Ex's Uncle

Claimed By My Ex's Uncle

He jumped out first and then turned back to me, bowing low with exaggerated grace. “Welcome to Grafburg's night market, Princess.” Gazing at my prince, I stepped out carefully, curious to see an ancient shopping mall like the gothic vibes of the city. But the moment my heels touched the cobbled street, my breath caught. It wasn’t a luxury shopping place or an old gothic mystery, but a long street of lively glitter. The night market shimmered beneath the rows of lanterns, strung like golden stars, their glow spilling across vendor stalls draped in silk, spices, and glittering trinkets. The air was alive with laughter, music from flutes drifting through the crowd, and the warm scent of delicio

The book is really good, but I am very much disappointed by the fact that the author releases only one chapter a day. But nowadays we don't get even a single chapter everyday. Author, please do update the book everyday even if it meant to read a single chapter everyday.

Coffin Without Honour

Coffin Without Honour

The hoard of goblins hissed and spat at me, bearing their pointed jagged teeth as they chattered menacingly. Goblins were small creatures, but together they gave true meaning to the phrase strength in numbers. Their attitude changed drastically when a few of their kind came to back up a single goblin. A smirk crossed my lips at their ridiculous attempt at being threatening. It might have worked against a small dog, but certainly not me. The smirk angered them further and they chattered more, dancing and bobbing about with

Recluse. The hour had grown late as Mrs. Belfry slipped out of her house and onto the square. She passed the fountain, the now empty market, and Pete’s Sweets candy shop, which was closed for the night. Just northwest of the center of town lay Lilith’s Hollow’s own cemetery. A thick fog perpetually hung over the grounds, which at night took on a mysterious and eerie glow. The witch knew the fog was created by the restless ghosts that populated the old boneyard but continued on despite her strong revulsion of all spirits.

The Alpha's Obsession

The Alpha's Obsession

It was a monstrous creature, its grotesque form blending seamlessly with the malevolence of the night. A troll, twice the size of a man, stood before them, its gnarled skin covered in warts and scars. Its eyes glowed with an insidious hunger as it snarled, revealing rows of jagged teeth. The goblins halted their pursuit, cackling with glee at the sight of their newfound ally. Leori's mind raced, searching for a plan, a way to overcome this seemingly insurmountable obstacle. He locked eyes with his companions, their shared determination unspoken but palpable. In that fleeting moment, they knew they had to fight for their lives.

Winning Back My Lost Luna!

Winning Back My Lost Luna!

Eirlys POV: The morning market was louder than usual. Merchants had arrived from neighboring villages before sunrise, filling the square with colorful fabrics, fresh fruit, spices, and enough noise to wake the Moon Goddess herself. Auren's eyes sparkled as he walked beside me, bouncing with excitement. "Mama!" "Hm?" "They have honey cakes over there." "I can see that." "And apple tarts. They look really good." "I see those too." "And candied nuts. And those sticky buns!"

The Gift and the Ghoul

The Gift and the Ghoul

The couple encouraged each other daily. “We’ll have money next year. Luck will finally be on our side then!” “Honey, once I get rich, I’ll treat you right!” Humans seemed to cling to dreams in hard times, like the little match girl in the snow. She lit her sticks, dreaming of warmth and comfort, only to freeze to death that winter. It was time to shatter their illusions. I had been wondering how to do it elegantly and gently. I pretended not to know anything. It was just to savor that moment of sweet satisfaction.

WE ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HILL

WE ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HILL

My tiny Ancanta vanished like smoke and vanished forever in this world, exactly like the day she arrived in front of me, frail and delicate as if she would vanish at any moment… “ANCANTA…” "Have you ever heard of a goblin fairy tale?" The elderly saleswoman, her face wrinkled, looked lovingly at Ancanta and softly caressed her head. Ancanta appeared to be drawn to the elderly woman's compassionate stare, so she smiled, still with the same sunny grin, and politely replied: "Uncle Hector never told me anything about goblins, they what? Isn't it like the devil to perform the terrifying things Uncle Hector used to warn me about?"

The Troll Queen's Bride

The Troll Queen's Bride

"There is a spell in each one of these petals, a curse in each thorn, and salvation in the rosy hips' fruits. To you, my garden, my life. May it bear us fruit." "There's so many colors!" I gasped at the rainbow of florid blooms, taking my whale ivory dagger to a blue rose. "May I take a clipping, as a - as a keepsake?" Gullinkambi pecked at the dirt, an otherworldly cerulean worm at his beak which he gulped down, delighted, then shuffled on his blazing chicken legs and let loose a cock-a-doodle-doo.

Rejected And Claimed By Them

Rejected And Claimed By Them

I close my eyes, bracing myself for the worst. But minutes pass, and I feel no pain. I wait for another minute, but their taunting voices are eerily absent. Slowly, I open my eyes, cautiously scanning the vicinity. To my astonishment, the two goblins are nowhere to be found. They have vanished without a trace. A wave of confusion and relief washes over me as I struggle to comprehend what just happened. I search the surroundings, but there is no sign of their presence. It is as if they were mere figments of my imagination, a fleeting nightmare that has dissipated into the ether.
