“Take a seat.” I found an empty chair in the back room, hyper aware of his eyes following me. When I finally settled in and looked up, he was staring at me with an expression I couldn't read. “As I was saying,” Professor Vane continued, “Gothic literature explores the forbidden, what the world as we know it now calls abnormal, the desires we tell ourselves we shouldn't have. The attractions that defy logic and morality.” Each time his eyes flicked back to me, my cheeks burned.

An hour later, after searching for anything to help us within books that ranged from brand new to hundreds of years old, I huffed with disappointment and decided to stretch my legs; my pale finger trailed over the spines of books, dust painting my fingertip. I'd be labeled a freak by association. Goth kids were feared.They always had an air of spookiness and macabre surrounding their auras , they were obsessed with death , dark humor and dark poetry and they always looked as though they stepped right out of a funeral catalogue. Standing next to this five foot tar colored freak, I couldn't stop my rampant thoughts from imagining her working in a cemetery some day.I have a feeling she'd qualify to work in one seeing how obsessed she was with death and everything it came with. In dedication to Born By Power is a series of poem fixed within chapters of the book. The first was relating to Chaos And Apocalypse, which pretty much revealed a lot about the uprise of hell. This is the second and is themed on the horrific nature of Halloween and written with relativeness to hell. What does this hold to unviel? Who knows. Kathrena laughed, but there was a nervous undertone to it, “are all poems so depressing? I’ve never read an uplifting poem, not once.” I snorted. “Of course there are. I had just pulled some distance from Ruth when Michael continued, crying, "Taylor, I finally see your true colors! You're jealous of my family and of my relationship with Jade, so you wanted me dead to have everything for yourself! "I was blind to treat you so well!
