From the corner of my eye, I see Ragnar watching it all from the sidelines, like a messenger of death himself. A rogue tries to flee. Ragnar's scythe spins out of his hand, decapitating him, but he doesn't kill him, I notice, just as someone knocks me down and just like that, I'm carried into the heat of the battle again. Ryker, on the other hand, blurs between wolf and human, leaving dead men in his wake till the last of the rogues stands. "Who sent you?" Ryker asks. I wobble on my feet, completely exhausted but manage to keep the stray wolf firmly in a chokehold.

By the time they reached the bottom, the tunnel breathed. And then— The attack began. A massive wave of goblins poured from the left wall—vile, hunched, teeth clacking, eyes glowing red with demonic possession. From the right: orc warriors in blood-forged armor, twice Khy’s size, wielding rusted axes that shimmered with cursed mist. And from deeper in the shadows… something darker. The Mist Warden. A floating beast cloaked in smoke and screams. No face. Just black tendrils and a voice like cracked glass.

I questioned her and Keran and Nyx both grinned and nodded. "The goblins are highly sexual creatures and won't think anything about an exposed nipple, bare breast, or man's penis out on display so don't stare or be too shocked by what you see. Rain was pouring heavily, leaving some loose strands of hair dangling around her drenched face. Her black converse bonnet is soaking wet and it felt so frore on her head. Calming herself, she listened to the voice in her head, having no other options for help. The creature before her kept grunting as if speaking in a language she doesn't understand. His eyes glowed bright shimmering gold and I also noticed that the suppressing magical force on my arms and legs suddenly disappeared.
