Beneath His Gaze
My heart skipped a beat.
“You like what you see, Tiger?” he asked, his deep voice slicing through the tension.
I looked up, meeting his eyes—one green, one blue—staring back with absolute focus. Something in that mismatched gaze made me feel completely exposed and utterly safe all at once.
“I asked you a question, Tiger,” he repeated. His tone dropped darker, deeper, thick with intent.
“Y-yes… I do,” I admitted, the confession barely above a whisper.
