God Game Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

The carefully crafted game board on the wailing man’s chest was full, revealing that crosses had won. “It appears I have won.” The being chuckled, slowly turning towards the psychopathic lord. “Ah, Darkous. How nice of you to join us, care for a game?” The psychopathic lord chuckled, taking a step towards his comrade. “I believe we can create a better game, Dorian.”

Dad nodded and smiled, “Our Hallie is promising.” Ailina’s POV: I went upstairs to take a shower and change my clothes, then carried my computer to bed and logged into games. As soon as I went online, I received a friend request. God of Fight, “God, you are online. Last time, when you led us to beat the boss in the world, you just went off-line. I didn’t even thank you properly. Tell me what you want, I will get it for you, no matter how much it costs.”

People around us started coming to their senses as they woke up inside the podium. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Bloodlust Games, The final chapter” mum announced proudly. My eyes widened as the ground glowed beneath me, I tried moving out of the circle I was in only to realize that there was what looked like a force field wall which I couldn’t get past. I punched the wall twice, it glowed under the force. But that was all, I couldn’t move out of it as mum proudly explained the rules of the games.

My father cried out through the Gate Opener road. "The first gate took her guide-soul. It used Chen's shadow as replacement when he sacrificed it." The world narrowed. My shadow opened its black eyes. "Hello, Lu Chen." Below-Prayer curled around the faceless fragment like smoke around glass. "Return the shadow," it whispered, "and Ava remains incomplete. Free the fragment, and the City God remains shadowless. Choose hunger's favorite game."

If she did not lower herself before Kaze, repent her sins and make up for the Whites, then she would end up horribly. Camry and Teresa were so excited that they cried. They knew their son’s name would be cleared soon and justice would be served! They knew it because their son was like a brother to the God of War! “Godfather, what is a God of War? Is it a game? Why are they calling you that?” Brenda looked at Kaze with a curious gaze. The girl’s innocence made the atmosphere lighter. Kaze smiled. “Yeah, God of War is like a game. He’s powerful like superheroes and can protect you from the villains. No one can make us move out of this house.”

What was he waiting for? In a split second, a fire-wielding hound sprang at us! Dan grabbed my arm and lurched right to avoid its attack. By now, I knew who he was: Alpha Ambrose’s brother, Argos. An earth-shattering cry filled the air as he snapped his jaws around Mike’s flank! Dan watched his trusted guard fall to the ground with a thud! I panicked, my soul screaming for help. I tried to establish a mind link with Felixe! We were losing! All my fighting skills were nothing compared to these fire-wielding beasts. In no time, they would get to me! I didn’t want to die! I prayed to the Moon Goddess for help! Only she could help us now!

Within a few hours, all the gods had gathered around the cave, and they unleashed their divine powers. BOOOOOMMM... "Wretched human, I will kill you!" The woman's scream from inside the cave and the explosion that followed made all the gods ready without hesitation, especially since the creature's breath was getting closer to the exit. And... BOOOOOMMM... "Damn you, you ugly monster, all you can do is curse and chase me!" Xiao Chen shouted, stunning all the gods. Seeing that the gods were silent, Xiao Chen immediately shouted for them to remain alert because their real enemy would be coming out soon.
