God Of Fire One Piece Novels & Stories

22 A dragon! He was a god-damned, fire-breathing, humongous, large toothed dragon-kind Miaka had never seen a real dragon before and was as blown away by him as Kai was. Kai quickly jumped out of the way as the guy shifted, but even as a dragon, he was no match for a God. Kai - being a war God - had no real chance at losing any battle - dragons or not. Miaka ran to the small wooden stage to congratulate her hero, but her efforts were misplaced, she soon found, as the people of the town did not want to forgo the execution.

Something about potions. Were those the drugs that she has been hearing lately? Though, those usually come with a very fanatic con artist. “I did but it only close superficial wounds, she was barely breathing when I was done with her.” “Then what does this means?” “I’m not too sure but maybe the Goddess Muria had blessed her?” The uncle and Oji-san all seemed taken aback by the doctor’s words yet all Evy could think about was that now they were on the topic of a goddess.

I reply as I release my power. My hair turns red and my eyes go ashen. I aim straight for the demon's stomach as my flame eats away at his blackened tendrils. A screech of agony is given from the demon prince as I continue to blast him, my energy drains quickly as I give a worried look at Knight who's fingers have begun shooting purple sparks at the demon. Wrapping around him, and dragging him towards us. The demon doesn't realize it yet, but he has already lost.

But there was something he was sure of, and that is, he had won himself another enemy, and that enemy was like a fire in the roof. MORE THAN JUST A GODDESS

Faster and faster, the wall of fire swirled and built until finally the entire courtyard had been consumed in a fiery kiss. If another human had been present for the phenomenon, they would have compared it to the pits of hell. Wanting ever more power to be gained and harnessed and un- leashed, Oliver stretched out his hands as if being crucified and called the flames back to him. As the destruction compacted and convulsed angrily, he flung his hands to the heavens. The swirling, convulsing maelstrom of fire obeyed him in totality

Ares screamed as blood pooled in my mouth, I didn’t let go. “You fucking little maggot!” I didn’t stop as I bit through his flesh and bone. Soon I felt a ‘pop’ then ‘snap’. Determined to inflict all the pain I could. I severed his wrist and hand from his arm. Still, Ares didn’t get off me. He healed quicker than any damage I could inflict. His hand soon rejoined his body. He continued to dominate me, combining his strength and power to land every single blow. This is just a reminder that he is a god, and I am not. I could never withstand this man’s strength and power. Even his armor is impenetrable by my flame. There is no happy ending to this. The bond Zeus placed on my powers has ended me.

Suddenly, he caused a huge fire in his body. “Crap!” I ran towards Pyro and hugged him so tight, “Relax, Dearest. Relax. I’m okay. Look at me.” I cupped his cheek and said everything to make him look at me. “Dearest, it's me Fira. Look. I’m good. No pain. Promise!” I raised my hand and then held his hand, massaged it in a second. I was just curious why I could not feel the burning sensation even though he was flaming in fire at the moment. Maybe because of the symbol in my wrist?

Suddenly, I felt an urge to laugh out loud. It seemed as though I had greatly misunderstood my deskmate. He was behaving differently from how I'd imagined. I think someone once told me that once a girl got curious about a guy, it meant she was about to fall in love with him very soon. And, a goody-two-shoes like me had never met a guy like him. He had piqued my curiosity. Once, my phone had run out of battery, so I borrowed his phone to make a call. I had then accidentally opened up his gallery and saw that it was filled to the brim with porn videos.

It was soon engulfed in a massive fireball. My heart tensed. Through the roaring fire, I watched as Velda looked back at me and mouthed two words. "Take care." "No!" I charged toward the inferno, but the secondary explosion sent a shockwave that threw me back onto the ground. Piper rushed to my side and helped me up. "Callan, are you okay?" My ears were ringing as my mind replayed the final look in Velda's eyes. There was no fear in them, only relief.

Everything felt… normal. I frowned. “They look just like us,” I said. The guide glanced back. “We are like you.” “That’s not what I meant.” Her lips quirked. “The six gods created their worlds together. They used the same design.” “So why are you all on fire?” I blurted. The guide laughed softly. “Our power comes from the Fire God. It shows differently in everyone.” I watched a man lift his hand. A small flame formed above his palm. He snuffed it out like it was nothing.
