“The Three Trials are concluded. Cast your seals.” The air thickened. One by one, the sigils ignited. Selena's seal flared silver - cold, sharp. "Denied." Kaelen's burned crimson, a wolf's snarl given light. "Denied." Cassiel's blazed gold, judgment without mercy. "Denied." My lungs tightened. Three against. The chamber pressed down. Then - black as night. Asmodan's smile never wavered. "Approved." Emerald, hesitant. Elaris. "Approved."

Nat said to her mother, they were both now talking to each other while the rest of us watched and listened. “Zelena, yes. Now, two will come, I assume that means the twins” Roe said pensively as she ran her fingers absentmindedly up and down her forearm, “But the seal part, what does that mean?” Nat asked while deep in thought. “The Book of the Goddess, the one that explains Selene and her lineage, it states that the mark of the Goddess can be placed on the wrist or the back of the neck. The leader of the Village, known as Trenton, stepped forward as his gaze narrowed on Cyran and Kellan. “I don’t think we properly introduced ourselves the last time I was here. My name is Azura Chasm, I am mated to Cyran Chasm and the Keeper of the Dragon Stone. They are here because we need your help.” All eyes moved from Kellan in his Dragon form and Cyran as they landed on me with surprise. Feeling awkward, I shifted from one foot to the other. While also feeling as if I was experiencing every high schooler’s nightmare, standing in front of class naked.

He had snatched both from his father long ago.

Smith stood in the middle, touching a wooden post. "The seal is inside," Smith told his people. "Break the door." "No!" Tamara stepped out. She couldn't let them break the holy place. Smith turned. "The faker. Good. We can end you and take the seal." Then the DSC appeared. Quinn Walsh and ten agents came out from behind buildings, guns raised. "Nobody move," Quinn said. "That seal belongs to us." Three groups. One seal. Everyone ready to fight. Smith smiled. "Kill them all."

She then turned to Jasmine slightly. “And you…you will stay close.” The statement caught everyone off guard. “You are tied to him in ways you don’t understand…whether you like it or not.” Ophelia’s jaw clenched slightly and Evans noticed. Dante scoffed. “Is this what we signed up for? Assigning guardians to the Alpha?” “It is called preserving the balance.” The elder replied sharply and that made Dante keep quiet. Evans glanced at Jasmine, then Ophelia; he had no idea things would be so intense tonight.

“I’m glad to hear that. What information do you have for me?” “The leader of the Slayers is using wolves as their vessels. I also believe it was the leader or one of the vessels that burned down the hospital and committed all those crimes. I want to go find the Slayers and take care of the leader as soon as possible. But finding the Slayer hideout might be difficult if it’s hidden like this,” I explained. Theo thought about it for a moment. “Maybe not as hard as you think. What do you know about these vessels?” Theo asked, staring between the two of us.
