Goddess Watch Over You Wow Novels & Stories

Zane explained, “the moon gets brighter. Even during the day sometimes, you can see it.” “That’s…” I stared at them. “That’s not possible.” “We have witnesses,” Darius said. “Half the pack has noticed it by now.” “Which is another reason everyone’s so confident about the ceremony,” Kael added. “The moon already recognizes you. The official blessing is just a formality.” I set down my fork, suddenly not hungry anymore. “What if it doesn’t work? What if the Goddess doesn’t, ” “Hey.” Zane’s hand found mine, warm and steady. “That’s not going to happen.”

Her eyes glowed with an unnatural light, her body spasming as she struggled to contain the magic inside her. "The Moon Goddess," Maxine whispered suddenly, her voice soft yet filled with dread. "She… she’s watching. She knows. She sees everything." Her words were chilling, and my heart dropped into my stomach. The Moon Goddess—the very being that had blessed our line, the force that had shaped our destiny. If Maxine had gained a glimpse of that power, it could mean the end of everything.

"The Moon Goddess sees your pain. She watches over you, and she will guide you through the darkness." Her words were like a balm to my soul, soothing my fears and calming my doubts. I felt a sense of peace settle over me, knowing that I wasn't alone in my struggles. The Moon Goddess, a symbol of hope and protection in our culture, would watch over me and help me navigate the challenges ahead. With renewed determination, I knew I could face my trauma head-on.

To be honest, I had seen it so often that it didn't surprise me anymore. Sure enough, Hailey started listing my crimes. "All I did was give him a watch. How dare you threaten him? Apologize to him right now, or I'm going to demote you!" Without waiting for my response, she dialed Jaxon's number and put the call on speaker. I could barely say a word before he started his wounded act. "I'm the one who should apologize, Ms. Miller. I shouldn't have accepted your gift if it was going to make Mr. Chase so mad. I'll return the watch. Please just tell Mr. Chase to stop targeting me at work."

He laughed, “No problem, love.” Joshua and I started watching movies and my head started slowly migrating south from his chest to his lap until I finally fell asleep. I don’t know how long I was asleep when the Goddess appeared in front of me, “Hello, child.” I smiled, “Thank you for coming to us during the day. It helped us a lot.” She lowered her gaze in acknowledgement, “I was happy to do it. Now that Alpha Odell is dead, you will be able to concentrate on just enjoying your mate. I just wanted to let you know that I will keep the enchanted tunnels and buildings available to you. They will stay enchanted to give you and your pack added protection.”

REWARD: IMMUNITY FROM THE LAST PURGE. "They’re using the 'Goddess' to hunt the 'Meat'," Kael wheezed, his grip on his crutch tightening until the wood groaned. I stared at the billboard. For exactly two seconds, a high-pitched tinnitus of absolute psychological fracture shrieked in my skull. I looked at the woman on the screen—the one who looked like she had never known a day of hunger, the one whose eyes were full of a fire I couldn't remember feeling.

“Do not be scared Aria for the moon goddess watches over you. The baby you carry is a gift. Tread carefully and you'll be rewarded.” With these words, she disappeared. Aria was left in between excitement and confusion. Should she be happy that the moon goddess is protecting her, or should she be scared that she carries a hr baby of a cruel Alpha? Her thoughts went deeper as she tried to find consolation within her.

Dad pulled her into his chest, holding her and the jar as if it were the most precious, painful thing in existence. The Goddess turned to us one last time. “I am sorry,” she whispered. Her voice carried the weight of a thousand star-crossed destinies. “As a Goddess, I cannot interfere with what fate has already written. But know this...” She smiled, her eyes fading into the night sky. “I have always watched over you. I always will.” And then, she was gone. The moonlight vanished, leaving only the sound of the ocean and the beating of our own hearts.

I shielded my eyes from the brilliance, unable to comprehend what was happening. And then, in the midst of that radiant light, the moon Goddess herself appeared in her full glory. She descended gracefully, her presence ethereal. "Max" the moon Goddess spoke, her voice like a gentle melody. "You and Lia have fought well, and you have shown unwavering love and unity. As a gift unto you, I offer my divine intervention." I watched in wonder as the moon Goddess extended her hand over Lia's lifeless form. With a wave of her hand, she breathed life back into Lia, and her chest rose with a deep breath.

My mood changed. "I heard and I saw the aftermath," Sarah said, her voice filled with a mix of awe and admiration. "Amazingly, you have that kind of power. Now I don't have to worry about you because you'll be able to take care of yourself," she chimed in, a hint of relief in her tone. She didn't seem bothered by the implications of my power; instead, she seemed to view it as a positive attribute.
