War God’s Gentle Vow

War God’s Gentle Vow

Her father continued, “They say the War God is mighty and powerful in a way most people will never understand. No one dares speak when he says no. No one even coughs or breathes wrong in his presence. It’s said he fought bravely in the last war. — In all of this, here is the part you need to hear — he needs you just as much as you need him.” That is the only way your destiny ends differently from your mother's. From your grandmother's." He paused. "Take the position. Climb from there. The higher you go, the closer you get to his world. He is the only one capable of helping you carry what you were born carrying. I don't want to lose you." Elena's jaw tightened. His words had found something r

Borrowed Guilt

"Didn't you say everything was foolproof? "Why is it me in the footage now?" As she spoke, she kept hitting his shoulder in frustration. "Can you stop it already? If you hadn't been so stupid and let her pull out that hair, none of this would've happened!" Wesley shouted back, shoving her aside. In that instant, every officer understood. They moved in and cuffed both of them. Edmund turned to me, curiosity and disbelief in his eyes. "How did you know all this?" I swallowed before answering. "Wesley has been controlling everything with some kind of spell. He thought he would never get caught."

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

When you knew a person’s goals, it was easy to determine their steps. “Well, that is true. The gods are notorious for seeking out budding talents and bringing them to their side. And when that fails, death is the only other way.” Hildegarde sighed when she thought of the atrocities of the gods over the years. Although it was wrong to judge them all so harshly since there were just gods out there, those gods were not as many as the tumors that destroyed and did as they pleased. And even with the good ones, they were only considered good because they largely avoided conflict and did not focus on the happenings of the world. In the society of gods, you were good if you left mortals and conflict

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

asked a deep, gravelly voice from a shadowy corner of the room. “Trust? No, father I do not trust him. He is reliable in that he knows the consequences of any . . . errors he may commit. He will do what I tell him and gather what information is desired.” Clurife turned to give respect to his father, Hades, as the god floated into the center of the chamber.

A God In Chains

A God In Chains

THE heavens never spoke in whispers. They roared. Kael knelt at the edge of the celestial dais, his skin stripped of its golden glow, blackened now with the mark of divine betrayal. The air around him shimmered with judgment, each breath thick with the rancid stench of mortality. Above him, the gods loomed, their faces carved from the cold light of eternity. Their eyes held neither pity nor forgiveness—only a cruelty as infinite as the stars. “You, the god of storms, who once commanded the skies,” boomed the All-Father, his voice rattling the cosmos, “have desecrated the sacred laws. You dared to love what is beneath us. A mortal. A fleeting ember among our eternal flame.”

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Then turn stable what you know, what you knew. Amen. See, there is capability. Shrink. The surface of the earth has begun with misfit. There is ambiguity about sin and no sin. You do not benefit in a stone home that cannot be rebuilt. Once constructed, it remains. There are stains of emotions grabbed within an insane place. You begin safe. You prosper high. You do not carry guilt. The guilt is what religion on humans first applied, first applies. You instead carry self with a fresh mind. Each sun rises, and each sun sets. If you won’t sleep sound, you will be at deep unrest. Why establish guilt so strongly in your men, in your women? It’s fake, your religion, for God it has never met. True G

Love Story in Heaven

Love Story in Heaven

He knelt before the throne, bowing and saying. The Lord of the Gods face scowled at him. “Do you know your sin?” "I know guilt." “Do you know what the punishment is like?” He tried to suppress the pain in his body, pretending to be very calm, and replied, "Forever in captivity." As expected, the Lord of the Gods went on a rampage, his voice shaking the diamond table in front of him. “Knowing but intentionally committing a crime. You think the law of heaven is nothing, do you? Take him out, keep him forever under the glacier for ten thousand years!"

''What offence of mine have the gods taken to heart? ''Oh, great king,'' Pythia called, as if to scold Gaius of not keeping memories, ''Have you no memories of your deeds? You have ravaged the treasure of the gods. And this blessing--the child--is the wrath of the gods upon you.'' Gaius fell into a long silence and reflected upon the priestess's words. He combed through memories and searched deep within himself, but he couldn't find fault or where he had stolen the god's treasure. He had always been in spiritual consonance with the gods and he ensured that all his spoils of wars were religiously credited to the gods. No, he couldn't find anywhere he had erred against the gods. He couldn't re

Doctor's Desire: The Billionaire Alpha's Demand for Me

Doctor's Desire: The Billionaire Alpha's Demand for Me

I wished I had loved him openly from the very beginning instead of constantly fighting the feelings in my heart. Every excuse... every fear... every painful memory... I had allowed them all to stand between us. The truth was... I had never truly fought for us. "I will allow you to see him," the Moon Goddess said. "But be warned. He lives through his guilt in a constant loop. He may not believe that you are truly there." She hesitated. "You will not like what you see." Was I strong enough to watch Adam slowly lose himself? To see the man I loved trapped inside his own guilt?

I Died On Our Anniversary

I Died On Our Anniversary

The fire has burned low in the room and the city is dark outside the window and somewhere in the merchant quarter a man with a scar is making his way through the streets toward wherever Caelan receives reports at the eleventh hour of the night. And in Riven's rooms the Goddess of Fate and the God of Sovereignty are sitting across from each other working out how to take apart something built to harm her by turning it into something that calls them both. "Show me," I say. He holds out his hand. Not for me to take. Just open. Palm up. An offering, not a demand. The God of Sovereignty showing the Goddess of Fate what his domain feels like from the inside. I put my hand over his without touching
