The Blood Curse
Once there was a glass of wine in each of their hands, Niniane sat back down and let out a sigh before she began.
"You see, along with the curse that was placed on Ravana and those whom he turned after murdering the first chosen, there was something else," Niniane took a sip of her wine. "Not only would our kind need to feed off the blood of mortals, there needed to be a sacrifice to keep us alive."
Layla did not like the sound of that and made a distasteful face.
"But you see, the sacrifice couldn't be just anyone. It needed to be a certain soul, the same soul," Niniane explained.
