The moonlight shone sharply through the cracks of the old iron roof. The faint scent of metal and old blood still lingered subtly. In the cold and empty room, Frederick stood with his back to the door. His body was upright like a steel beam, while a thin trail of cigarette smoke floated from his fingertips. Several scars of sharp objects were visible on his cheek area, believed to have been caused by shards of glass during his attack at Edgar’s hideout in Saint Petersburg. The sound of footsteps echoed as a muscular man with silver hair and piercing eyes like blades appeared from the shadows, dressed in a long dark gray wool coat. Behind him, two loyal henchmen stood guard.

Saint snarls. I open my bleary eyes to a searing pain in my wrists, ankles, and across my chest. I'm hogtied on the floor of the jet in silver chains. Freddie is hogtied unconscious next to me. He looks pale and has dried blood coming from his nose and mouth. I listen quietly. I can hear his heartbeat, so I know at least he isn't dead. "What the fuck? Saint, what happened?" I groan. "I think the coffee was poisoned. Come on, get out of the chains. We need to get up."

Shadow says. “Hey what can I say I’m a sucker for good pussy. Not that you would know anything about that would you Shadow?” Frankie says jokingly. “Fuck you, Frankie.” Shadow laughs tossing a pen at his head. “I’m flattered bro, but you know you’re not really my type.” He laughs dodging the pen. “Funny that’s just what Tara said to Gio before they got all engaged, oh wait my bad I mean before he took her hostage.” Steel laughs shaking his head as the three fuckers laugh at me.

“Love what-” “Alpha that is dangerous!!!” Alan came to the doorway. “SAMANTHA SERENE SILVER!!!” I looked back to the mirror and her eyes were completely silver, mine were glowing gold as well... “ALPHA STOP!!!” “REMEMBER!!!!” I gasped as the giant chain clattered once before it shattered, dissolving into nothing. Somewhere I felt myself falling before the endless blackness took us both.

"Take her away. Since she’s acting so sl*tty, we’ll let her have all the fun tonight!" Maddison was stunned. "No, no, Fez. I didn’t ask to see you because of that. I want you to help me deal with that guy named Kersey!" It would have been better if she had kept quiet. The more she mentioned it, the angrier Goldie felt. "You want me to deal with Kersey for you? Do you know who that is? My boss’ big boss is his woman. You almost got me killed tonight, do you know that? You hadn’t even hit puberty when he started killing. You’re asking me to deal with him!?"

Magnus fell to his knees, clutching his head as the darkness spasmed violently around him, trying to hold onto its vessel. Frederick didn’t waste the chance. He surged forward, shoving his hands against Magnus’ chest. Light burst from his palms, slamming into the black veins crawling up Magnus’ skin. The darkness recoiled, shrieking in protest. For a moment, Magnus’ real eyes flickered beneath the void. Frederick pushed harder. “Come back, damn it!” The light exploded. The courtyard was swallowed in a brilliant, golden flare. The shadows writhed and howled, retreating back into Magnus’ body—fighting, resisting—before finally collapsing.

“Do I look like someone who needs your help? I don’t need your apologies, and trust me, if really I need a shoulder to cry on, it’s definitely not yours. Its either you leave this room, or I do you the favor of leaving this pack. And please when going, take your food with you, I am not hungry.” I saw the sadness in her eyes but they weren’t real to me. I just needed some time to mourn and grief and she just had to interrupt my peace. Freya left my room, I got up immediately shutting the door and locking it behind me. “Dad, the man you’ve always wanted to match me up with has a pregnant wife.” I muttered. Feeling so weak, I went back to the bed and had no idea when I slept off. _

I had to struggle to suppress a laugh. The Silver Myst was an urban legend, a pure silver wolf who showed up when things looked at their worst.
