A Symphony of Frost and Flame

A Symphony of Frost and Flame

Large windows of glass and red curtains stayed open, letting the cool wind travel inside. Larice glanced forward at the end of the throne room that elevated the empty seat of the Emperor. The golden chair, with red and white fur on the backrest, rose the highest among the elegant seats on the sides—all had rested above the curved, marble-tiled stairs. Behind the seats stood a red-painted wall, revealing a huge symbol of a golden phoenix at its center. Everything was gold and red. Even the round chandeliers above them screamed of wealth and power.

A slow start, but I understand because the characters and the world needs to be established well. And you did! I'm so so so glad I continued reading since the book really has a very strong middle. So many plot twists! And what I love the most is the magic system! Wew. Great job!

Now this is an epic dragon story I'm looking for! Unlike other stories, you've given your dragons their own culture, government system, livelihood, religion ... we even got a map! You're such an awesome author. PS. I also loved your book Reclaim the Ice Crown. Great job!

Itzthalia Charm
The skill of the writer is unique, the plot is amazing ❤️and unpredictable and still very transparent, I love Alyssa role as a motivator and supporter to Darrell unlike other random plots where the female protagonist is waiting for her prince charming to rescue her from distress I find that pathetic

What do I say about this book... it’s so powerful. I honestly felt my whole thought process shift after finishing it. Such a beautiful read. With life so hectic is was great to be taken to another world and sink into the story. As always I love these stories and characters created. Always refreshing

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

The Alpha and Luna's Final Fate

I stand between Alec and Magnus and allow them to take an arm on either side of me and smile. ‘Both of you, it will be then,’ I grin. We enter the great hall together, arm in arm. Magnus and Alec are proud as they escort me toward the thrones. I beam with surprise as I notice three thrones instead of the two I saw earlier, but these three are different and much more beautiful than I could ever imagine. The smaller glimmering throne sits between the two larger ones. They are made from some kind of semitransparent precious stone. They are opalescent in shades of dark blue and silver. I smile up at Alec.

The Veil Of Time

The Veil Of Time

The rest of the throne room though mostly black was decorated with silver and diamond accessories truly the highest depiction of wealth I've ever seen. The throne itself looked every bit like I would envision Hades' throne would look, It was black and appeared to be made out of the bones of different creatures even humans but the armrests were in the form of a lion while on the back rest there were gargoyle status on either side that looked as though they were guarding the throne itself. And I noticed that despite the overwhelming amount of black in the room I was well lit as was the rest of the castle even in places without windows like the throne room.

Five Alphas, One Destiny

Five Alphas, One Destiny

None dared to breathe too loudly. At the end of that aisle rose a raised platform of polished marble, and sitting upon it was a throne forged entirely out of gold. The metal gleamed even in the dimness, catching every glimmer of the torchlight as if it enjoyed the attention. The man who sat on the throne did not seem to belong to it. Or perhaps the throne belonged to him so completely that it was hard to separate where one began and the other ended.

The Silver Crown

The Silver Crown

Sanctioned means no one touches you—unless someone higher says they can. Caelric steps closer. “Where is the token.” The attacker’s eyes flick down, terrified. Soryn’s grip tightens, and the man whimpers. “Pocket—inside—” Caelric reaches in and pulls out something small. Metal. A coin-sized medallion. Even from across the room I can see the etching—too clean, too official. A crown shape. A vertical line through it like a blade. My blood turns cold. Caelric’s face doesn’t change, but his eyes harden into something I’ve only seen right before people disappear.

The Eclipse Secret Child

The Eclipse Secret Child

The Zenith Crown estate was not a home, it was a monument to Kaelen’s blinding ego, tonight, for the Grand Ascension Gala, every marble pillar was draped in gold silk, and every light spell was dialed to a bone-searing intensity, to the thousands of guests swirling in the ballroom below, the estate was a paradise of warmth and power, to me, it was a furnace.

A Contract With My Demon

A Contract With My Demon

“We go back. But we’re not going to live in the shadows anymore, Elara.” “Then where?” *********** Vane pulled a small, black key from his pocket. It wasn't the key to the Obsidian Manor. It was a key made of white gold and obsidian, fused together. “There’s a throne in the High Court that’s been empty since the beginning of time,” Vane said. “The Throne of the Eclipse. It requires two rulers—one who has seen the bottom of the abyss, and one who has broken the light.” He looked at her, his smirk returning—the one that made her want to hit him and kiss him at the same time.

The Golden Leaf

The Golden Leaf

Now that I was face to face with it - albeit behind a glass panel - with the Golden Leaf and Zak at stake, I could not afford to lose focus and be encapsulated by its superiority and imperialness. We reached the end of the corridor. I looked at my watch. 05:40. Another staircase. Much to my relief, this was much shorter, with ten steps. Embroidered on a red velvet carpet were golden knives, swords, and shields, which covered the polished marble steps. “Now, you two are about to meet the great President Drago Caracas, the leader of Obsidian!” Adrian exclaimed proudly. “Remember, show respect and we can figure something out for you two. Now follow me!”

Her Graceful War Song

Her Graceful War Song

Helen snapped furiously. The Golden Tower was located on South Street in the capital, and it was a well-established shop with a long-standing reputation. Their designs were unique, some even more exquisite than what the palace craftsmen could produce. In fact, many of the palace concubines sent people to The Golden Tower to buy jewelry and accessories. Moreover, the young heir of The Golden Tower knew how to market his products. Some items were made in very limited quantities. Even though the profit from just a few pieces wasn't huge, it helped maintain the store's prestigious reputation. Keeping that reputation alive was what really mattered in the long run.

I love reading but choosy, and this book caught my attention as the author's thought was put into writing. It portrayed the life of normal and those in power clearly. It contains political, military, monarchial, business, education, martial arts, humanitarian, judicial aspects that I can relate to.

I like how this novel is now evolving into an interesting Sherlock Holmes case after the much-needed testimonies of Caden, Barett, Viola and Violet in particular... And I don't understand people's lack of patience, I really don't... for my part I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us
